Hawker is a decentralized social media! With a direct feed populated with just messages from people that you subscribe to.
No ads, no target content, no content discovery algorithm. Just the content you want from the people you subscribe to.
This special part of this app is that the data in the hawks (messages) is not stored in the cloud or even sent via the backend server. Instead, the backend works as a send and request board. Matchmaking people who want data and people who want to send data together. Then using WebRTC the clients connect directly to each other. Failing back to a relay only if needed.
