Confession is such an important sacrament for us as Catholics, and yet it can be intimidating and difficult to go to regularly. iConfess was designed to break down these barriers so that we can benefit more often from this wonderful sacraments and leave lives of holiness. Confession can be intimidating: Confessing your sins to priests is hard and nerve-racking, which is why iConfess walks you through how to make a good confession. Part of this includes completing an examination of conscience, so that you can include all the sins since your last confession. Confession can be hard to find: Often times, we aren't familiar with the confessions times at the churches near us. iConfess allows you to easily find churches near your location, and shows you the relevant confession or mass times, according to your preferences. Confession can be difficult to do regularly: Sometimes we can go months or years without confession because we simply never get around to it. iConfess provides the ability to set reminders to create a variety of spiritual habits, including going to confession regularly. The goal of all of these features is to enable every Catholic to dive deeper into the sacrament of Confession, so that they can receive forgiveness and continue on their path to sainthood. This app makes it a lot easier to find a confession or mass in the area quickly. It’s very helpful for planning my day to find the confession time that works best for me. You can plan ahead by selecting a different day of the week. But a problem is that it had St. Philip Benizi as an option that I went to, to find out there wasn’t confession on that time/day. I checked the app and you have to click the “view more” button to see the days available. If they don’t have that time available for confession on Thursdays. It shouldn’t pop up when I’m looking at the options on Thursday. It takes away from the convenience by having to click the view more on every single option to be careful that you don’t drive somewhere for nothing.

Every now and then, I check out the App Store for any new Catholic confession apps and I came across this one and I love it!! I love the daily examen because I fail to do this regularly and this app is a great tool to show me my strengths and weaknesses. It reminds me a lot of the Baker examen that I have written in my Bible. I love the Chat option to find prayers for current problems and I love the walk through for confession! Thank you for creating it!!

Every now and then, I check out the App Store for any new Catholic confession apps and I came across this one and I love it!! I love the daily examen because I fail to do this regularly and this app is a great tool to show me my strengths and weaknesses. It reminds me a lot of the Baker examen that I have written in my Bible. I love the Chat option to find prayers for current problems and I love the walk through for confession! This app was just what I was looking for! I downloaded it to my iPad, and it functioned beautifully, but when I did the same for my iPhone, the examination of conscience gets stuck on the 8th commandment. You cannot go forward from there. I have deleted and reinstalled the app on my iPhone and still get the same results. I would give it five stars if this issue is resolved!

Changes to the overall UI to improve usability. Redesigned home page, improved examination of conscience flow, and better find church logic.
