I used Solflare for a long time and liked it a lot, but something brought Backpack to my attention and I'm glad it did. Backpack is my favorite Solana wallet of all time. I'm not a very advanced user, but Backpack has made it easy for me to branch out and start doing regular swaps and other stuff that I couldn't quite wrap my head around in other wallets. Backpack makes it smooth, easy, painless. I love this wallet. Lots of native staking options too! No matter how much you like whatever other wallet you're using for Solana (and for a few other chains as well), I recommend giving Backpack a look. Really a top-notch piece of software.

Beware! Stay away from these new companies trying to copycat Do not download this app!I’ve lost funds due to a critical issue in this app. I sent crypto to an address I’ve used multiple times both before and after the incident but the app glitched and dropped the final character from the wallet address. The funds were sent to a void internal system address with no recipient, no keys, and no way to recover.Support admitted that if I were the recipient, they could help but in this case, there is no recipient. It’s not a scam or fraud it’s a system failure that silently traps user funds. I’ve been investing responsibly for over 10 years and have never seen a platform fail like this without taking accountability.There is no excuse for allowing a transaction to go through with an invalid or incomplete address especially when the tokens are now stuck in a system wallet that no one controls.This is not just about the amount I lost. It’s about the principle. When dealing with real money, integrity, transparency, and safety must come first. Until this issue is acknowledged and resolved, I urge everyone to stay away.

The address used in the second transaction was incomplete, which resulted in the funds being sent to an address that does not have an associated private key and cannot be recovered by any party.We do not modify or truncate destination addresses, and we strongly recommend always carefully verifying the full address before confirming any on-chain transaction. That said, we take feedback like this seriously and are continuously improving validation and safeguards in the app to help prevent mistakes.Our support team has already reviewed the case and will continue to assist directly via the support channel.
