Great Little QR Creator
Let's face it, as ugly as QR codes can be, they are a part of our life now. And if you need custom QR codes made, this is a great little app to do it. You can cusomize the style of all the elements, and add logos or graphics as well. Good stuff! Plus the developer is very responsive and engaged in helping out with problems. 5 stars.
Qewie on iOS will give this app a run for its money.
This app is very laggy, when many QR codes are housed. Doesn't make sense given its essentially just a text document editor. Not some photoshop file with hundreds of layers.
Good QR Creator but misses some basics
QReate is a decent app.
The good: Able to embed images, change colors of the elements of the QR code, etc. UI is slim but nicely laid out. Worth the few bucks I paid to not have someone else’s trackers embedded in the QR codes.
The bad:
1) You can’t copy a QR code…and it doesn’t remember settings between code generations. If you have to create a bunch of QR codes, you have to enter any customizations each time.
2) It doesn’t save well. There is no “save” button for the QR codes you are working on, so I assumed it was saving as I was working. When I closed and re-opened the app, all of my QR codes I had created had defaulted back to “new” state (no URL or customization). So I had to start over again.
So it is useful, but not great. Fix save and add duplication, and this would be perfect.
