Thanks to your feedback, we’ve fine-tuned the ABB Infoservice app once again! Each robot now has its own photo gallery. You can zoom into photos (yep, finally!) and they rotate depending on how you hold your phone – portrait or landscape. You’ll also see all related cases on the robot’s detail. In chat, you can now see who read your message – just press and hold it. We’ve also fixed an issue where your draft message could unexpectedly disappear while typing on iOS. And as always, a few small but handy fixes.

Bug-fixes and stability improvements

The ABB Infoservice 2.0 application now connects all service departments of ABB Robotics and becomes a key tool for communication with customers. The new version of the application introduces enhanced features for hotline events, including the option to chat with a service technician for quick support in resolving issues with a robot. During a technician visit, you can track the entire progress of the hotline intervention within the app until it is fully resolved. Additionally, the application has been improved with a new user interface and optimized performance for a more convenient and faster user experience.

In the new version of ABB Infoservice, we’ve added a badge to the application icon to ensure you get all the new information. We’ve expanded the robot detail with new services and fixed a few minor issues.

The latest release of ABB Infoservice incorporates significant changes that have been made based on your valuable feedback. For customers with multiple sites, the application now provides the option to view data specific to the selected customer site, along with notifications. The selection of sites can be customized in various ways, and the settings are adjustable, allowing modifications at any time. All PDF Files within events, chats, cases, robots, and accessories can now be opened directly without the need to download them to your device. Simply tap on the file name or the PDF preview. Viewing video in the chat now supports landscape orientation, just as it does when capturing videos and photos. View the application version - you can find the application version at the bottom of the application settings.

In the newest version of ABB Infoservice, we have added a few new features, extended the robot detail, and fixed a few minor bugs. • Pull-to-refresh - By swiping down in each category, you trigger a data content update. • Chat links - You can now use active links to websites in the chat. • The Robots category offers a more detailed robot description.
