It combines motion sensors, video analysis, and 3D tracking to help caster scientifically improve their casting technique.
Efly transforms fly casting — traditionally based on feeling and experience — into measurable data.
The system uses inertial sensors attached to the rod and analyzes: rod trajectory in 3D, acceleration and speed, casting planes and loop geometry, timing, rhythm, and tempo, angular movement and transitions between back cast and forward cast
The app visualizes all this information in real time through graphs, metrics, and synchronized video analysis
