Bauchbewohner
Due Date & Contraction Counter
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Bauchbewohner – your pregnancy calculator for parents-to-be, midwives and doctors. Due date, fertile days and contractions: calculated simply, with the formula and source for every calculation.
DUE DATE CALCULATOR
• Due date by six methods: Naegele's rule, 280-day rule, day of conception, IVF embryo transfer on day 3 or day 5, known due date
• Current week of pregnancy (e.g. 20+3), day of pregnancy and trimester
• Week-by-week overview of the whole pregnancy, also for a future date when planning
OVULATION CALCULATOR
• Ovulation, fertile days and next period from the first day of your last period and your cycle length
• Possible implantation
• Calendar with all dates at a glance
CONTRACTION TIMER
• Time contractions at the tap of a button: duration and interval
• Statistics for the last 60 minutes
• A note as soon as your contractions have been regular for an hour (guidance from the Austrian midwives' association and the Austrian health portal gesundheit.gv.at)
• The log stays on your device and is deleted 24 hours after the last contraction
SOURCES AND PDF
• Every calculation shows its formula and tappable sources, including gesundheit.gv.at, DocCheck Flexikon, ACOG and Wilcox et al.; many of them are in German
• Export as PDF, e.g. for your next appointment with your doctor or midwife
PRIVACY
• No account, no cloud: all inputs stay on your device
• Delete your inputs in the settings at any time
• The app is free; it shows ads (Google AdMob, with a consent prompt) and contains labelled Amazon affiliate links (amazon.de)
PLEASE NOTE
All information is calculated using the methods and sources stated. It is for information and support only and does not replace an examination or advice from a doctor or midwife. Every body and every pregnancy is different; actual dates may differ. In an emergency: ambulance 144 (Austria) or European emergency number 112.
