Fun and addictive

I wasn't sure about this game when I started playing it; I found aspects of it hard to grasp at first. But I've been playing for five or six days now and have gotten used to the way the game works (and have joined a guild, which makes the game just that much more fun), and now I find it very addictive in a good way. I look forward to my bits of free time during the day so that I can collect my idle chest and see what I can level up. I've spent some money on the game because the enjoyment I get out of it is worth it to me, and when I get paid I'm likely to buy the $30 permanent ad-free option. When I became eligible to join a guild, this added a whole new dimension of enjoyment for me, in pitting myself against my guild mates to try to become one of the most active and most powerful members, while we help each other out by boosting the star levels of each other's heroes and helping each other get greater rewards by beating guild bosses and the guild brawl event. There's a lot to do, but the UI is very well designed so that it never becomes one of those confusing messes wherein you can't remember where anything is.I don't think I can really add a lot more to Sputtervalve's excellent review (I think that was their name); I just recommend that you download and try this game and draw your own conclusions about it. For my part, I'm really glad I found it and didn't dismiss the positive reviews as shills (they're not). Play and enjoy! 😊

I have to say I’m really impressed with this game. Pro’s Choice to be FTP or support Ad free forever at $30 is pretty steep, but long term worth. It covers about 30 optional ads per day. There are no forced ads. The ads are optional and just speed up team development. There is an option for a 30 day no ads as well. There is also an option for a “chill pass” I’m not sure what the true benefits of that is, but it’s $10 for 30 days. Easy to get Legendaries I have all legendary characters unlocked already! While getting them to max stars might take awhile, it’s really cool to have most characters unlocked. Fun The game is really fun! I like the look and action it has for an idler. Cons Viability of lower tiered characters over time. I’m not sure the viability of the lower tiered characters over time. I like the look of them and kind of sad that they all get sidelined for epic and legendary characters pretty quickly. Pirate bargain timers don’t run while game is closed So I’m not sure what it’s called, but the 3 timers for buffs don’t run while the game is closed and only run while the game is open. I’m not sure why this is. The main reason to get the chill pass is it auto these buffs and the buffs get better over time. They jump the time to 40 minutes between activation though. So you have to let the game go on idle with a screen saver to get this buff going and develop it more. I don’t like this, but maybe they have a good reason.

I played this game for a few days to see what it is like to heavily involved with gems: it’s difficult to earn legendaries.. I tried to earn macho cat even with saved of 20-25k gems I earn other legendaries but got stuck at 28-9 chapter..also ships are ok but once you get 30/60 you have to get to quest 180 to earn snake stones to upgrade the ship it’s painfully slow… I saw in other tournaments people have macho cat.. I tried really hard to earn macho cat but even with saved enough gems.. it’s difficult to obtain certain legendaries you need to get passed certain chapters.. using the buff health and attack doesn’t even work as well.. it’s a ok game but it’s too much like gambling in tournaments: it’s almost pay heavy bc tournaments get difficult even with you winning first for emblem titles I gave the game a respectful score 6.3/10 it can improve on if you can select the certain legendaries you want to see so it’s not going to randomly show up.. that could take weeks to get the right legendary to show up.. I respectfully quit the game bc I don’t want to spend money.. the titles for emblems in tournaments is too competitive.. also arena gets difficult too there are people with level 100 legendaries with macho cats.. some people have great luck lol.. great game but the legendary pirates are very low to get you’ll end up with blues and greens that have no buff or abilities lol..they are not helpful at all with no abilities to get through chapters..
