Zone Vibrate

Guard your heart rate zone

Free · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.

Now: your rides on the phone with their routes, a file to take anywhere, pace instead of speed, and the wind read out to you before you roll. Hour four. The road tips up again. Your wrist buzzes once— too hard, ease off. You never looked down. That's the whole idea. — Zone Alerts Pick the zones you mean to stay in. Drift out and the watch buzzes, and says which way you went. One Tap To Start It remembers yesterday's zones. Tap once. Same session, no arcs to re-tap. Spoken Zones In your language. Often enough to help, never enough to nag. Cycling, Running, Walking Pick the sport. The readouts follow it. A Face You Can Read Turn it with the crown to whatever angle your wrist sits at on the bars. Heart rate, speed, distance, time. Steps on a walk, power on a ride. Start and stop in the corner, without leaving it. Speed Or Pace Tap the readout for minutes per kilometre. The watch says it that way too. Standing still shows no pace — just a bigger heart. The Wind, Before You Set Off A marker on the side it comes from. Speed and gusts in two colours. Rain, UV, today's range, the hours ahead. Spoken once, when you start. The Route, All Of It Recorded the whole way — including the hours your wrist is down and the screen has gone to sleep. Saved to Apple Health as the ride it was. Your Rides Every one the watch recorded, on your phone, its route drawn on a map. TCX or GPX, sent wherever you keep your training. No account. Nothing leaves unless you ask. Zones In Beats Worked out from your own resting and maximum rate, warm-up band included. The numbers behind the arcs. — The watch runs on its own. Your iPhone can stay at home. English and Traditional Chinese. Your heart rate is read from Apple Health and stays on your own devices. Your zones, on the watch face itself - A complication in every accessory shape — corner, circular, inline, rectangular. It shows the zones one tap will start, and your last ride where there is room, so the face you are already looking at tells you what you are about to do. The ride on a map, while you are still on it - A new page beside the dial draws your route as it is recorded, refitting as you go. The map used to appear only once you had stopped, which is the wrong moment to ask where you are. A face that reads at a glance - The ring is a speed gauge, so it is no longer tinted by your heart-rate zone. Arc length said how fast and hue said which zone, and neither reading helped the other. The zone moved to the heart rate — the biggest figure on the screen. - The wind marker is bigger, sits on a solid plate, and no longer covers its own arrow. - North has a red arrow now, pointing north, the way the wind's arrow points at the wind. - And the dial grew again, into the empty middle of the top bar. Steps on a walk, power on a ride - One slot under the speed, and the sport decides which. A step count on a bike is your wrist moving on the bars — not a number worth the room it takes. One more thing said before you set off - The spoken forecast now tells you which way the wind blows: "wind 6 from the north west". That is the half that decides whether you ride out into it or come home into it. Traditional Chinese, finished - Every screen, every button, and everything the watch says out loud. For head units - A ride now exports as a route as well as an activity, so a device that wants a course to follow gets one.
