App is really great, but held back by the developers

I got this app for my partner and I, and we both love it. However, I think its only issue is the fact that its held back by its developers. From what I can tell, there haven’t been updates to what you can actually do in the app in a long time. Why not add more? I don’t see the problem. There’s a lot of creative things you can do. You can add photo albums for specific places. Add more pet customization so that you can change their colors. The messages are so wonky, add the ability to reply and like messages. Why does the name of “Miss you” presents change after you send one? It should stay forever, until you change it again. Why does the count reset on how many you send? You could add past trips you did, and show the route you took and such. Add more widget options, all of the 3 Lock Screen options should have a dark and light mode. Add the ability to add stories on days that already passed. Have a diary or a journal that each person can write in, and share with their partner if they so wish. Add calendar events for the future; not everything is a special day that needs to be a holiday. Just let me add like “go to see parents today” or “leaving for trip”. Maybe leaning into the game stuff, give both of us customizable avatars, which we can customize more with coins by doing things? Like, c’mon. There’s so many ways to make this app even more appealing than it already is.

I really like this app but the dang that kinda makes me feel like it could use a little more is that you could at least get two eggs for free instead of one and have a little more food for the people who doesn’t have real money because this app is very amazing but it could use some other things to it also the app could use a thing so you can talk to your pet I’m sorry I am being out of line but the over all this app is very good I like how I can see how far my partner is and the pet can also be on the map I really like it also you can change I love you’a that is amazing and it will send to your parents I really like that

So my boyfriend saw an ad on this app, loved it and told me to download it. I said okay and the first thing I notice with this app is that as soon as I open the app, it sends me to the “upgrade to premium”(every time I open the app). I know these people are just trying to make a living from this app but holy smokes. This app is so money focused. Literally majority of the features are hidden, including the battery percentage and needs the premium to unlock that feature which I think is ridiculous. This app is cute I’ll give it that but other than that I’d say this app is just money hungry. There are better alternatives than this. (Basic features aren’t even reliable because you gotta pay for almost everything. The pet, your partner’s location, and like a bit of updates of where they’ve been but not to the extent because 💵 is needed yet again.) FYI, before anyone disagrees on this premium stuff, saying the premium pass is cheaper than others. Well yeah, I know. I got another one with other family, that premium pass is crazy as-well but it gives a lot of free features already, like the percentage. So it feels more like an option than something I need to get from the app. I just strike it as a marketing tactic because it’s a couple based app, but it doesn’t mean they’ve got to make you pay for almost all the features that should’ve been reliable already. Me and my Fiancé love the app because we can stalk each other which is funny to us and we can always let each other know when the other has low battery which is very funny. One thing I wish the app had was a way to add events to the calendar to count down to. Like I’m going to see her in a couple weeks and we have our wedding planned in a couple months so it would be very cool is we could add things that we are counting down to. We have the app counting the days we’ve been together and we love that but the opposite would be awesome as well
