4,454 invaders mapped across 90 cities in 33 countries. Track your flashes on one map, city by city, with stats and your full hunting history.
Discover and collect Space Invader mosaics around the world with Mapvaders, the ultimate companion for invader hunters.
THE MAP IS THE APP
No tab bar, nothing to learn. Thousands of Invader mosaics sit on one map, and a panel over it lists what is near you. Drag it up to read the list, push it down to give the city back to the map. Pick a city and the map flies to it; tap an invader in the list and the map comes onto that piece.
FIND ANY INVADER
Search by name, by a code like PA_1159, or by city, and the map opens what you picked. The Atlas indexes every invader, grouped under its city, with filters for district, points, condition and flash status behind a single button that tells you how many are on.
TRACK YOUR COLLECTION
Mark invaders as "flashed" when you find them. Your Record holds your statistics, an activity heatmap by day and hour, a timeline of every flash, a gallery of your photos, the rarest pieces you have flashed, and the ones destroyed since.
HUNT WITHOUT A SIGNAL
Download a city's map before you go and hunt it with no network at all. Settings lists every downloaded city with its size and date, and removes it in one tap.
STAY INFORMED WITH PROACTIVE ALERTS
Follow your favorite cities and get a push notification the moment a new invader appears in one of them. Never miss a new invasion.
READABLE AT A GLANCE
Flash status and condition read by shape as well as by color, so one look is enough in bright sun. Every figure is set in a monospaced face so numbers line up. Light and dark modes are both there.
PREMIUM
Free hunters see the area an invader sits in, to within 250 m, and can tap it to list what it holds. Premium unlocks the exact position of every mosaic, and the pins and distances that depend on it.
GLOBAL COMMUNITY DATA
Benefit from crowdsourced location data maintained by passionate invader enthusiasts worldwide. Help keep the database accurate and up-to-date.
Perfect for urban explorers, collectors, and anyone fascinated by Invader's iconic 8-bit mosaics. Whether you're a casual observer or a dedicated hunter, Mapvaders turns your city walks into treasure hunts.
Available in English, French, and Spanish.

Please change it so that tapping an invader does not reorient the map and zoom in - I want to be able to see where I am and tap multiple invaders along the route to see if I know them or not. Useless to zoom me in and spin me around! At least make this dumb feature toggleable.
Developer Response
Hello ! This has been changed to an optional feature available in the params of the map in the latest versions; thank you for your feedback !
Lost all my flashes with update
AhhSharon
I was using Mapvaders to track all the flashes that I had so I could find ones that I hadn’t flashed yet. This took a long time to enter since I had to manually entered in 600+ flashes and I also payed for a yearly subscription for premium features til April next year. Unfortunately, since updating the app, I no longer have access to premium features even though I paid for it through next year. And even worse, all my recorded flashes are gone. I wish I had known that the new update would lose all of my history and invalidate my subscription. Really surprising and disappointing.
Developer Response
Hello AhhSharon,For your subscription all you have to do is to click on the "restore permissions" button on the bottom left of the subscription page. It will give you all your permissions back. As for your flashes, send us an email at mapvaders@gmail.com we will try to give you a file with the flashes of your online save (if you had any). We expected the update to be a smooth process but some users who didn't back up locally lost some data unfortunately.

• The ISS invader counts in your total score again.
