Updated review: the app seems to be working as intended now. To the developer, thanks for working this issue and sending out the update message. Old review: A full screen add appears first, even before seeing the app. After dismissing it all I see is a gray screen with nothing on it.

This app requires you have notification access turned on and will not let you use it at all until you’ve enabled notifications. It’s a simple currency converter, it doesn’t need notifications.I won’t trust an app it developer that has practices like this without any explanation for the reason it would need access.
