(update) A couple more issues. One, the undead race is too overpowered - with the right combination of units you can beat nearly any opponent. Second, the UI animations (switching between tabs, etc) and animations between rounds really slow the game's flow - makes for a lot of waiting. Would be really nice if we could turn those off/skip through them. Wish I could turn off the voiceovers too, as the dealer VO gets annoying.(End update)Fun deck battler/auto-chess hybrid with good production values (except the female voiceover dialog - it's pretty cheesy). The one thing that's just ridiculous is that you can't sell cards from your hand. This becomes really problematic if both your field and your hand are full and you want to buy a card, especially if that card is one that will upgrade one you have and all your field units are really good/upgraded (so you don't want to sell any of them) - you should at LEAST be able to buy a card for upgrading if at least one of the two matches you already own is in your hand, as that match will disappear, leaving an open spot in your hand for the newly upgraded card. It's not such a big deal early in a game when you still have open spots on the field or cards on the field you're willing to sell, but later in a game it really gets annoying.

Gotten very far in the game without spending any money and I really enjoyed it, but now I hit a wall where I lost majority of my match. Progress becomes so slow with so many upgrades and limited gold given daily. You month of work could be bought for $50 or so. I don’t see myself playing this game for long, but I still recommend it to people who looking for a strategy game. The game did a really good jobs on making you not play just one deck, every match you are given three random deck out of multiple deck. For this reason you have to be very good at more than one deck. For me this is very fun and enjoyable, forcing you to be more flexible as a player. However This is also another reason it a p2w, sometime you won’t be getting the deck you spent the most on. You need to invest in more than one deck so your random pick would give you a good deck. With the restricted daily gold given, building multiple deck would take years. Spending money would increase your progress a lot, and you definitely need to spend a good amount to build a well competitive deck. I seen video of player using the same combo I am using with 100 time better result than I am, this is because my card lvl are so low compare to them. There nothing wrong with spending money, If you are willing to do that, I highly recommend this game. Just don’t expect to go high without spending any money.

Great game. I’ve been playing it alot since I downloaded it. However, after each update with, “bug fixes”, the game breaks in some other way. I know it’s hard to get everything ironed out in one go, but now I can’t even select units from the shop without force closing and reopening. I would give 5 stars, if the updates didn’t keep making it harder the play the game, instead of better. Hopefully they can figure everything out sooner rather than later, because it’s a fun game. Also, why can you not make a triple, if you already have the other two copies in your possession, and you already have six on the board and six in your hand. By then adding the triple to your hand, it would put you at less cards in your hand/deck than you had before, but yet it still won’t let you add the unit to make the triple. Minus 1 star for this feature, and minus another for updates that don’t upgrade. Other than that, great game.Edit: Added one star back because updates started to come out smoother and didn’t cause previous issue.

This is a new card strategy game that is really fun, however… it’s annoying because the cards have stats like, cheers, brew, and so on, and you just have to figure out what they do. There isn’t a table of contents anywhere that says what these things do. If there is, they haven’t made it easy to find. You can hold down on the gold words and it explains a good amount but it’s still a bit confusing when trying to work them all together. My other gripe is that the games are very long! Best out of style game. My complaint here is that if I get 14th place or 2nd, I don’t get gold for the win. It only seems to reward you with gold coins if you get first, which happens, but it takes multiple tries and can become exhausting. That being said I do enjoy this game. I wish they would make it slightly more approachable and not a cash grab the further you get into it. I’d love to give it more stars, but I’m going to wait to see if they can’t make it easier to advance with coins. I think 2nd and 3rd out of so many should still reward a small amount of coins given how long it takes for you to complete a full game.
