Wordingly is a simple word game that changes how you learn a language, in a delightful way. Built for iOS 26, with Liquid Glass controls. It is a calm word puzzle: get from a start word to a target word in a few steps, where every step is a move of grammar you already know. The two ladders (Standard and Hard) have 99 levels (198 total) over 3 laps. Daily puzzles run separately throughout the year. Here are the moves: same meaning, opposite, tense operations, plural, noun, verb, adjective, adverb, broader, narrower, rhymes with, sounds like, letter-edit, anagram. The start word and every move are shown; you supply the hidden words. It reads top to bottom, like a recipe: write → right (sounds like) right → left (opposite) left → leave (present) THE LAMP The whole game happens in one room, under one lamp. Everything you have solved sits in its light, the step you are on is lit, and what is still to come waits in the dark. Stuck? Brighten the lamp to receive a hint, and it shows you one or two letters. A PUZZLE A DAY Today's puzzle is the same for everyone and takes a few minutes. A streak counts the days you solve it — quietly, with a free freeze now and then — and never nags. LEVELS IN SERIES Beyond the daily, two ladders of 99 levels each unlock one level at a time, from simple forms to rhymes, anagrams and letter edits. Each level teaches its moves by doing; there are no lessons. OFFLINE, NO ACCOUNT No sign-up and no internet needed. Your progress stays on your device. MADE TO BE READ Big words in a serif face, large keys, VoiceOver throughout, and the largest text sizes scroll rather than clip. Five rooms, each with a dark and a light half. HINTS AND EXTRAS One free hint a day for the ladders. Hints for the daily puzzle are earned: watch a short ad or buy a hint pack. Ads are only ever offered, never forced. Optional in-app purchases: hint packs, Remove Ads, and The Color Spell (the four extra rooms, no ads). Remove Ads and The Color Spell both make hints unlimited, on the ladders and the daily. (Disclaimer: Even when purchased, a hint only shows letters the word above doesn't already have. When all such letters visible, there is no hint bulb.)
