I’ve been playing vrchat since late 2017. I’ve played thousands of hours both in desktop, pcvr, and quest standalone. Now that it’s on ios and I’ve spent some time in it, I must say, I’m mildly impressed. It’s runs ok, but it kills your battery quite quickly. I wouldn’t recommend this to people who are new to vrchat and want to get into it. You won’t have a good experience. Ios vrchat seems like it is best treated as a mobile tool for dedicated vrchat users. I can’t quite put my finger on what would make this tool useful yet though. Parents, do not allow your children to play this game. It is not safe. Vrchat is even less safe than Discord and Roblox. I played Vrchat as a minor, and every other minor I knew and have known that’s played Vrchat has been groomed in some fashion. It is not safe, and it will not become safe. Vrchat must be treated like alcohol, meaning it should be enjoyed by adults, in moderation.

So, to start off, this is actually super cool that VRC was finally able to make the game on iOS. But with that, there are issues, such as, even with games being MADE for the new iOS version, it still has a tendency to overload and kick you out the app entirely. I do feel like there should be a tutorial for how to navigate the settings page, like where everything is and such. Though, since avatars and worlds aren’t exactly updated yet, everything’s like a potato, avatars are pixelated and the worlds sometimes have trouble loading in. EITHER WAY, this is a super budget friendly way to play VRC!! I really like it, I’ve already had a fun experience in Furry Karaoke!

overall it's just okay. is it any better than quest and/or PC? absolutely not, but it at least gives the illusion of playing on a PC. many worlds and features are NOT optimized for it, video players do NOT work and you're gonna see a TON of pink or grey missing textures. don't even bother trying to join your friend on a public, because it WILL crash. overall it's good for when you're traveling and need to do something you can't do on the website or when you want to visit a friend and don't have your headset with you, but man it's so limited.
Only Complaint, Media Player Not Working

I like to watch videos in vrchat, especially on the popcorn theater world, but when I went to try a link it just.. would show up black with no sound, but the bar and timeline would be progressing, this might be more on the media players side but.. yeah, over all the game for a mobile port is impressive, even the optimization is pretty solid, could use a bit of work but overall very playable;Btw, I literally just found out the IOS port was out already by randomly just checking it now on the App Store, I can’t wait to see how this glows up over time
