What happens in Europe impacts your daily life – no matter where you are. Our team of journalists from every corner of the continent covers the big societal challenges, political shifts, and ideas that impact all our lives, such as the fight against the climate crisis, the rise of the far-right, and the challenge of migration. But our articles also give you a glimpse of what it’s like to live in a different place in Europe.
Who we are
We are not-for-profit - our community comes first. The European Correspondent does journalism relevant to people from Lisbon to Helsinki and Edinburgh to Istanbul. We want to be a place where people can come together to read, think, and act. Together with you, we want to develop the future of European journalism.
Why should you care about European journalism?
The smartest ideas and people rarely come from our home country. The decade-defining events usually happen elsewhere. But their impact is felt across Europe. To understand the challenges of our time, we have to look beyond borders. But today, no truly European media outlet exists - we are here to change that!
What we offer
Every day, you'll get three to six articles helping you understand Europe. Our outstanding team of data journalists help you see the bigger picture: Are you wondering about gender equality in European politics? Who has the strongest passport in Europe? Which region emits the most greenhouse gases? Our data team creates the data visualisation to help you cut through the noise.
You can now also listen to our journalism: We create an audio version of every story we write, directly available in the app. We hope you enjoy it!
Ratings & Reviews
This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Our magazine is now live in the app! This update brings a new three-tab layout, so you can read today's edition and explore the magazine — all in one place. For our audiophiles, there's now a dedicated audio tab. And the app remembers which tab you had open last, so you always return right where you left off.
