Improvements to AI functions that check grammar and improve the flow of the lyrics created.

We've improved audio playback! Music now defaults to play through your phone’s speaker on the Practice Singing and Select Music screens — making it easier to hear and enjoy your tracks.

Two screens are redesigned for a faster, fun, easier experience: Choosing a song starts with “Choose Your Occasion” (Love, Birthday, Thank You, more…) Previously to choose the music there was a list of tracks. Now you can choose to go with the “Chef’s Recommendation”, curated for your occasion, or choose by genera (Pop, Rock, Country, more..) or track.

Fixed a few small bugs.

Added a menu to the tool bar on the Practice and Record screens to allow users to change the music or edit lyrics without having to go backwards to previous screens to do so.

A few small improvements and cleaner code.

Song Chef 2.5.6 adds a new category of recipes: eCards. It can be used to write songs to any of the styles of music. New recipes were added for writing eCard greeting songs. These include the following: + Birthday + Graduation + New Years + Mothers Day + Fathers Day + Christmas + Hanukkah

Song Chef 2.5.2 adds off-line help to the help pop-ups next to questions. This feature makes the app more useful and friendly by providing ideas to pick from. The off-line capability ensures you can use the feature when not connected to the internet.

Song Chef 2.4 adds a new song and music style: Pop Rock. After lyrics are created, you can switch between music styles, Pop Rock and Folk for example. As you change music styles and songs, the song structure changes as well as the music. The lyrics are presented in new, unexpected, and exciting ways. This new version creates excitement for the unexpected and fun song writing.

Small updates to Karaoke player.

Song Chef 2.3 adds a new feature for Seri to speak your lyrics as you record or practice singing. To activate, turn the option ON under Settings. It’s like singing Kareokee to your lyrics with help from the voice. On the Practice Singing screen, the player has fast-forward and rewind buttons that sync with the spoken lyrics, making it fun to explore sections of the song and how your lyrics sound when spoken. When lyrics are saved, they are saved and PDF and JPG. This enables sharing lyrics as a photo for devices that don’t support sharing PDFs. Added a new recipe: + Puppy Love: It’s great fun writing a song about your pet. It’s your chance to tell the world what you love about your furry friend and partner.

Song Chef 2.2 adds the new Show Chords and a toggle under Settings to choose the option to display chords. This update includes a few changes to questions used to generate lyrics, and a few other improvements and fixes. Added two new recipes: + Kiss and Make Up: Who can resist an apology when it’s said in a song. Say Something Nice; Make someone’s day by saying what you love about them in a song. Resolves an issue of silence being recorded if a user does not grant permission to access microphone before trying to record vocals. The app will not allow recording until permission is granted.

Resolved a bug that was causing a crash if the song was playing when exiting or going backwards from the Congrats You Have a Song screen.

Added two new recipes: Second Base, and Anywhere With You.
