Founder has been very helpful on discord (Ask for a trial to see if it suits you as theres not many up to date videos on the Pro Plans) if you have any questions, I requested the last 2 features id want to see on here. He said they were already adding it shortly. Almost perfect to what Ive been looking for, cant wait to see how it develops from here.

In terms of intuitive design, the app is stuck ten years back. It kind of feels like navigating through Finder. No intuitive swiping. In order to start a new note, you have to tap a couple buttons just to get there. Navigating notes feels similar. Not to mention choppy animations that make you feel as though the app could crash at any minute. It’s what largely kept me from staying subscribed to Fabric for years. So I’m just going to have to bite the bullet, because their attention to cutting edge features outweighs the thoughtless UI design — which they refuse to update. MCP connection, AI agent, connectors, plugins, extensions, the list goes on. They are so chock full of everything you could possibly need……but with a ton of stuff comes a mess to navigate and a hassle to access. Wait… I can’t add a voice note after I’ve created a regular note? Why not? Why doesn’t the New Note button just automatically enable typing then and there? Seven more buttons after that? It’s overwhelming and largely what I’m sure prevents them from catching mainstream attention. To avoid the mess, and retain the benefits, I’ll likely begin most notes in Claude and have it deal with Fabric’s “backend.”

A few improvements to feel perfect.1. A quick preview feature is a must, especially for videos. It would be great if I could hold my finger on a video/image/file and have it instantly preview or play smoothly.2. A scratchpad for quick notes where the text stays unchanged would be incredibly useful. I know you’d make it great and customizable because you’re clearly creative developers. Placing the scratchpad in the menu bar beside Home, Tasks, and Calendar would look really neat.3. Adding more themes alongside the current dark and light modes across the whole app would be amazing. An OLED pure black theme would look fantastic. It would add more personality and make the experience feel fresh whenever users switch themes from time to time.Maybe in the future, you could expand this even further and introduce new themes with updates.Please consider these ideas.

I attempted to use Fabric to organize a project I am working on. I had a dozen tabs open in my web browser. Rather than add each one to a project board somewhere individually, I asked Fabric to save them all at once. Fabric responded that it cannot do that and that I would need to save them each individually.Every response that Fabric gave was five tabs longer than it needed to be, even after I said to use short responses. The font is virtually unreadable on mobile, but it cannot be changed. When I asked Fabric to use a larger font, it completely ignored the request at first then just started replying in all caps bold type.
