App works well, scooters are powerful, but not well positioned

The app is fine, although I found the use of the word “lock” for “end trip” a little confusing. The scooters themselves are very powerful, you can get straight up the hill in Halifax, it’s very liberating. However, each morning I would set out to fetch coffee and discover there were no scooters within 10 blocks of my hotel, which took some of the wind out of the sails. They could stand to do more scooter rebalancing. Otherwise great.

A brand-new HFX eScooters is here — rebuilt from the ground up. We've completely redesigned the app for a faster, simpler ride: • Fresh new look & feel — a cleaner, more intuitive experience across every screen • Smoother ride flow — unlock, ride, pause, and end your trip with fewer taps • Redesigned map — clearer vehicles, parking spots, and service zones at a glance • Better route guidance — more accurate walking directions to your nearest scooter • More languages — ride in your preferred language • Performance & stability improvements throughout Thanks for riding with HFX eScooters — we'd love your feedback!
