I have tried all the other apps & this is the best. This app has the traditional rules, in particular the Double rule, but has the option to modify a few rules too. Pretty cool. Game is closest to real play. It allows you to mistakenly draw from the boneyard if you have a play. Other games do not allow you to draw if you have a move. That is fine for newbies or children, but this app is more challenging. Play is fast and fun. I almost subtracted a star on the rating because the bones are layed out right to left which takes some getting used to for those who read left to right. Otherwise this game is done very well. Lots of special touches that improve ease of play such as double tapping for quicker play & ease of organizing your hand. Fun game. I highly recommend this app.

This is the best app I’ve found for Mexican Train dominoes, and I’ve recommended it many times to friends and family who love to play Mexican train. I play it often myself. I would give it a 5 star rating except for the issue I’ve described below. I am only having one problem with it, and would love it if it could be fixed. After several weeks to months of play, the game appears to freeze up mid game and automatically shuts down. When you reopen the game, the exact same game that just shut down opens. Each time this has happened, after I restart play it shuts down at the exact same point in the game where it shut down previously. No matter how many times you try to restart where you left off, it shuts down again at the exact same point in play. The only way I have found to resolve the issue is to completely remove the app from my device and the download it again. This happens again and again after a few weeks to a month or so. If I didn’t like this particular app so much, I would definitely NOT go to the trouble to remove it and then re-download it. I would not even go to the trouble of writing this all down hoping for a fix, but it really is a great app for Mexican Train. Could someone PLEASE check this bug and fix it??? PRETTY PLEASE??? Thank you!

I have tried three different Mexican Train apps, and this one is by far the best one. The ads are not intrusive. I especially like the options that are available, especially that you can change the skill level. It is a game that is challenging, yet the app plays fairly, too. (A different app that I tried was horrible, I seldom won a round, and never won a match.) Great game

Except for the fact that it freezes during at least every other game, and I have to close it and reopen it, it is a well designed game.When I close it and reopen it, I don’t lose my place, it continues within the next move (or waits for me if it is my move). Unfortunately, it’s not just freezing now, it’s also not allowing me to play some dominoes or it will play the domino incorrectly when I double click on it and then freeze and then put the domino back on the bottom line. It’s very frustratingIf it worked, it would be a great game.
