Why in the world did Barberitos change their app? The new version is 100% geared towards online ordering and not towards rewards. There’s no longer a way to put in a receipt if you forget to scan your rewards QR at the time of purchase. And even though they were supposed to carry over my rewards from the old app, it did not. I lost out on a reward that I was very close to earning. If the quality of the food and service ever declines, I won’t hesitate to drop Barberitos as my favorite restaurant because the lack of rewards and the lack of functionality of the app irritates me

The new update with the revamped rewards system lacks any way to view your rewards. The menu is also more difficult to navigate and there is no simple “Opt Out” option for data tracking in the app, only links to other sites. The online ordering still worked and I didn’t have to setup my payment methods again so it still gets 3/5 stars.

I’ve seen several other reviews asking for the return of the “special notes” section and more options for grilling vegetables. My local store told me to call after I placed the order to give my special instructions but this is creating more work for your employees and customers. You should also remove all reviews where customers are giving praise to their local Barberitos maybe then you’d get a more accurate rating of your App.
