Metis - Journal
Put your memories on the map
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Every journey deserves to be remembered.
Some places fade after a single visit, but some moments wait quietly for you to return. Metis lets you journal and capture photos in the moment — walk back to the same place, and the story comes back naturally.
Features
Memory Map — Every entry is pinned to where it happened, automatically; remove or change the pin any time
Daily Journal — Words and photos, with prompts for the blank-page days
Tags — Organize with #hashtags and a tag cloud that links related entries
On This Day — Revisit past entries and photos from the same date in years gone by
Privacy Lock — Lock the app or a single entry with Face ID, fingerprint, or PIN, and blur it in your list
Cloud Sync — Your journal lives in your account; switch phones without losing a memory
AI Tagging & Mood (optional) — Turn on AI-suggested tags and mood for your entries; off by default, always yours to review before saving

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
- Writing: the bottom bar tucks away while you type and previews your place, photos and tags.
- Uploads: retry or discard failed photos, and see photos right away while they upload.
- PDF export: long histories split into smaller files, export faster, and stay until you save them.
- AI credits: you're told when they run out, and the AI tag setting moved into the credits card.
- Fixes: location from older photos, theme-matched maps, better translations, and no more "No connection" on return.
