The Good: this app has worked very well for me for months as a means of automating project management. i’ve been using voice memos to record meetings and funneling through vomo as a means of assigning speakers, creating summaries, and publishing to easily access on other devicesThe Bad: in a perfect world i would record directly using the app, but the interface is worse than apple voice memos in a couple of ways. I’d like to be able to use shortcuts to start and stop recordings, but only start recording is an option. the shortcut logic also fails under certain basic circumstances like if the app is already open. voice memos also allows for searching for specific terms in the transcript and moving to this part of the recording; neither of which work for Vomo at this time. the Ugly: in the past two weeks the app has been NOT FUNCTIONAL. i’ve made sure i’m on the latest iOS, but files are not being received from voice memos (and yes, i’m making sure to leave this app open while it tries to download and process). Even recordings created natively in the app are prone to failure and being lost entirely. unfortunately I need to look into alternatives until this is resolved, which is very disappointing as someone who pays for the annual subscription

I'd like to personally investigate what's causing this issue. If we can't resolve it, we'll absolutely provide you with a refund.I also want to acknowledge the feature requests you mentioned - the Shortcuts improvements (adding stop recording functionality and fixing the issues when the app is already open) and the ability to search for specific terms in transcripts and jump to that part of the recording. Not great transcription

I was super excited to use this app because the voice memos transcriptions, although great, were difficult to access. I don’t know if it was an accessibility thing or a technological low IQ thing on my part lol. But I was very disappointed. Although sitting right next to the recorder and speaking clearly, it turns out, apparently, we were sometimes speaking English and sometimes speaking Japanese. Also, I couldn’t even recognize the subject matter of what was being talked about because it went from talking about an M, to Plato, to chocolate, to going potty. I wish there was something That would update super soon. As in before my week runs out that would enhance the accuracy because I am a student on a super limited income in a single mom. I went out on a limb for this one with high hopes, and, all this is a fantastic idea, I was disappointed and hope that there is a better option or a very soon update.
