Ask for recommendations and improvements to some areas but overall great game

I ended up starting my journey with brownDust 2 during January if Im not wrong, its a fun experience in my opinion their are aspects to the game that i think are amazing, the music, art and story are really strong selling points and Ive stayed playing sense i got into it, their was the whole controversy with the self censoring but i was really happy you guys chose to stick with your roots and cater to the people that enjoy and play your game. Ill continue to be a loyal fan for that reason. Ever sense i started playing their would be times when the game would start crashing or freeze then crash, its something i found odd considering im playing the game on current hardware for iPhones, i would end up lowering the graphical fidelity to compensate but none the less would hope an issue like that can be fixed, i downloaded the game on pc, and it looks gorgeous, would love to experience that same feeling without the crashes or lags. An improvement i would love is fixing how some costumes are timed, when drawing for prestige skins, the window to purchase tickets are only available a week before the actual lucky draw ends. I would love if the window to purchase them matched that of the time available to draw the skins. Its strange that with some its a set date but the prestige skins their separated, if I’m not mistaken you cant draw tickets when the time ends or purchase them, so your just there looking at the lucky draw. If it can be fixed i would be very thankful, and i can spend my money and support the game, thank you very much for the work done and i cant wait for more in the future

Strategy is Key, Gacha is helpful

After playing quite a few main and side chapters as a free to play player, I can tell you that this game is unforgiving in the sense that you’ll have to replay battles quite often to find the combo of knock around a that both deal damage to who they hit, but also put the knockee in a spot for Area damage to be cast on them. Even after landing quite a few ultra rare weapons for characters, I still had a challenge in the main boss fights, prioritizing who has what ability instead of their stats. Quite a few of my 4* heroes get play and I switch between them because I unlocked upgrades for their skills (costume dupes) However, you won’t be able to use characters you want in some of the side stories, forcing you to learn different ways of playing the game if you don’t have that characters costume and can level them faster. I dislike the need for gacha in this game to upgrade costumes/skills. It’s needed for acquiring weapons faster as well, though upgrading weapons/armor, restarting, using abilities, etc, just cost gold or ability pills. Which are both easy to come by unless you lose your +9 wep over 150 times ._. So if you get the same outfits for a character over and over, you’re probably going to utilize them a bit. But having the ability to level our skills/unlock outfits a different way would make this game go a lot further, though I understand the need and am fine with slow playing the gacha system :P

Signs of corporate greed and scummy behavior

If you’re thinking about playing the game it might not be the best at the moment the direction the game is heading seems to be more and more greed.I started playing around the beginning of the mushoku tensei Collab, then soon it shot to being one of my favorite gacha games. The gacha character system is really great. The game is incredibly generous and you could get the in game animation with only one copy. The gameplay is also really fun,as well as fun minigames. BUT…. then they released a costume gacha for their poster girl Justia which they marketed as something affordable to only have it be a 50$ skin at pity. Not only that they promised 2 free tickets to be given out for free I never received those tickets. The irony in this skin is the first one they released is a premium 50 skin with less content added than their free content. They didn’t even try adding normal flat rate buyable costumes straight to the greedy path. Lastly now they are doing the same thing not just a month later it seems like this becoming a habit and I advise those to not start the game or buy the skin, its a scummy practice and is going in a greedy direction. It’s incredibly disappointing and saddening that one of my favorite gacha games is going down this route.

Underrated Gem - Deserves attention

It's surprising that this game doesn't get more attention. Don't let the some reviews sway your opinion, they ragequit from pulling from their reviews. I've been playing for over a year, and I can confidently say that the hand-drawn art style is stunning. The world is well made you can traverse towns similar to 90s style rpg which is immersive interacting with npc. The UI is minimal and design is aesthetically pleasing from a design perspective. The battle system is refreshingly innovative, offering a strategic depth reminiscent of SRPGs, but on a more compact grid. The transitions from 3d pixel art special moves to animation is well done. The drop rates are exceptional for a gacha game; I've managed to pull over 20 five-star characters and countless 5 star weapons from single daily free pulls alone. The premium currency is quite generous, thanks to events and daily logins which is very frequent. While the pity system is standard, you can trade for the units you desire once the banner ends (points conversion). The developers are responsive to the community and actively implement changes based on feedback. This game is truly a hidden gem, amongst the best premium game apps in the store—don't let anyone convince you otherwise.
