The program has been great for sorting through old pictures. A few notes and surprises that have kept me going:1) Space saving is great. I’m on pace to hit more than 200GB saved.2) My photo albums are now much more fun to look through since all the junk is getting cleared out.3) Has been really good for taking a daily walk down memory lane. I review that day’s photos throughout the years, remember them, send them to friends to remind them. It’s great for my mental health and just for dusting off old memories.4) I use it to make sure my digital photo frame gets updated. After sorting through all of the day’s photos and marking favorites I then upload all the best ones to our photo frame. Our kids love it and go to the frame every day to see their memories.I would love for a discount to come once you hit something like 90% sorted. I like the program a lot, it’s worth every penny at the beginning, but once I hit my 1 year mark it would be nice to get offered a lifetime subscription for the price of another year or something like that. The developer is great, they respond quickly and fix things so I want to continue supporting them, but I’m unsure if I would do so at full price once I hit 1 year. We will see, but for the first year it’s 100% worth it for sure.

I already left a review but feel compelled to leave another one. This app is free and is built around added bonuses the longer you use it as a “streak”, adding more free photos you can go through every day. The max used to be 250 per day, and I wrote my first review when that was dropped to 150 in an attempt to push more people to the paid tier of $8/week (for a service that can be entirely free even if with slightly more hassle - which is Absurd). With the new update this week, there is now an ad that displays every 5 swipes, and every 5ish ads a second pop up appears to say “pay to get rid of ads!”. This is Insane and completely ruins the app experience with more ads than I have seen anywhere. The description mentions that there are no ads, and that principle has now entirely been made untrue. This app has been completely ruined by greed, just sort the photos every day via your own photo app. Don’t give Picnic your time, attention, or money - they’ve ruined their app and lost me with it. I hope I see more reviews calling this out because it’s just outright wrong.

I don’t think I’ve ever done an app review, but the amazing way I was treated inspired me to do so (and I wasn’t even asked!).I had a small issue with payment and reached out to support. When they responded they quickly got creative with figuring out a solution and were very kind and understanding. It was absolutely refreshing to know I was talking to an actual true human. They took their time with my concern and didn’t give me a canned response from a template. Not only is the app top notch, but the customer service is amazing. Skip the week/month/year subscription and get the year while it’s still this great price. This app will save you a lot of money on extra storage, while also letting you go down memory lane 😌

I’ve been using this app for months now. It’s been great clearing out my phone overtime from old pictures and it’s also been a nice way to look back on the last few years bit by bit. Genuinely really like this app. You’ve been able to do a fair amount for free and I’ve never felt a need to pay for the other features, though they look interesting and I’m sure many people would like them. But the recent addition of ads brings my review from a 5 to a 3. You can be midway through organizing photos and an ad just shows up taking the whole screen and giving you no options. If the app really needs ad revenue, then add a button that lets you watch an ad for an extra 100 swipes or something, make it an option that benefits the user while the developers can also make money from it. But don’t force us to deal with ads now.
