A beautiful app which brings important resources of the life of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in one place to help people connect with his universal message
The Seerah app has been designed to bring together important resources relating to the Seerah in one place. The aim of the app is to help Muslims and non-muslims learn more about the life of the greatest person that every lived, Muhammad (pbuh).
The app is divided into the following sections:
Muhammad:
This section contains information about the life of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) before he received the message. There is also a link to his Last Sermon. All sections have audio provided.
Timeline:
The timeline provides information about what happened in the life of the Prophet Muhammad, after he received the message. There is a visual timeline provided, and this converts to a textual timeline if the icon at the top is pressed, where the user can toggle between the two.
People:
This section contains information about the People who were alive at the time of the Prophet (pbuh). Short biographies are provided for each as well as links to different scholars providing more extensive information on most of the individuals.
Series:
The famous Omar series has been included in the app. This series was co-produced by Qatar TV and MBC and directed by Hatem Ali. It has been provided courtesy of a Creative Commons licence, although it is also available to view in a number of other locations on the internet, but the first 17 episodes have been included here as they pertain to the life of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)
Courses:
Links have been provided to courses on the Seerah by various scholars which are publicly available on YouTube and will help to provide more information about the Seerah in an engaging way.
Poetry:
An array of publicly available videos on YouTube about the Prophet (pbuh), from touching poetry to beautiful nasheeds and spoken word.
Books:
A list of the common Seerah books have been provided with links of where to purchase them.
