Great coffee is usually two streets away and you have no idea. MugShot puts it on the map, then follows the bag all the way home: scan the label, brew to the timer, log how it tasted.
DISCOVER COFFEE NEARBY
Open the map and MugShot finds the specialty coffee around you. Not every cafe with a coffee machine, the real ones: independent shops, roasteries, espresso bars. Each pick comes with a short line on what makes it worth the walk, so you are choosing, not guessing. Filter to cafes, roasters, or espresso, see photos, ratings, and how far it is, take a look down the street before you go, and get directions in a tap.
BUILD YOUR OWN COFFEE MAP
Save the places worth returning to. Star the ones you love, keep private notes on what you drank and what to order next time, then sort your list by nearest, newest, or favorites first. A city you visited once stays useful years later.
SCAN YOUR BAGS
Point the camera at any coffee bag and MugShot reads the roaster, origin, process, roast level, variety, altitude, and tasting notes straight off the label. Every bag lands in your bean library, so the whole shelf is searchable, and a recipe tuned to those beans is one tap away.

A dial you actually want to use. Step through every pour, swirl, and rest while the servings, dose, water, and temperature stay on screen. Put the phone down and a notification still tells you the moment the brew is done.

Write recipes step by step, in your own words. Set the coffee dose, water weight, brew temperature, grind size, and servings, whether that is one cup or the whole table, and keep the notes you never want to lose.
AI RECIPE CREATION
Name your brewer, your beans, and how you like your coffee. MugShot writes the recipe: the steps, the timings, the dose and water, the grind. Save it, adjust it, brew it again, for whatever bag you just picked up.
BREW JOURNAL
Rate every cup and log what you tasted: acidity, body, sweetness, bitterness. Record the grind, the dose, the time, and the recipe behind it. Two weeks later you will know exactly why that one was better.

NO ACCOUNT, NO TRACKING
No sign-up, no profile, no ad networks. Your recipes, beans, spots, and journal live on your device. Some things do leave it. The bag photo and your taste and brew details are sent to our server and analyzed by OpenAI. Your approximate location is used to find nearby cafes through Apple Maps and Google Places. Crash reports, purchases (through Apple and RevenueCat), and any support message you send also leave your device.
