Overall I am very happy with the program. But when it comes to the AI EXPAND function, it needs some work, especially when it comes to people. I definitely understand the learning curve, but I’ve had what are perfect lower bodies for people BUT the size/ ratios will be off. Sometimes very badly. Also, I have gotten the “ the photo generated what may be inappropriate content “ way too many times. It would be ok if when I reloaded the expansion, but it doesn’t give APPROPRIATE alternatives. There are instances when I really can’t even imagine what inappropriate content would be, given the subject matter I’m having expanded. In others, I can definitely see how it would logically move toward what cld be deemed as inappropriate. BUT I am paying for the service. If I am making a collage and I require expansion to include adult imagery… that’s what I want. What may be “inappropriate to some viewer” may not be for me. And well… in this case that’s all the really matters, No?The style transfer string is incredible

Just a few days after paying for Pro, they dropped a new update that ruined it. The AI Expand is now broke. I get an “inappropriate” content warning 99% of the time even if it’s just a hairstyle on a face I’m trying to extend. Worse than that, they removed several of my favorite Styles (zombie, horror, sci-fi, etc) and added Jade and Clay?! So, my dazzling new style choices are to turn everything green or make it mud.?…Yass! They brought back the Horror styles boosted my rating back up.

So I have been on a quest to learn ai specifically to use for caricatures. I’m 60 years old so my learning curve is quite steep. I still use windows 7 with Microsoft picture it for my editing for goodness sake! But I have played with youcam perfect and loved it! I created a lot of really fun things. I recently download just the ai youcam pro and found that I can finally create caricatures! I have the pro version of several youcam apps and truly the key to it is practice and repetition, just like any other craft. I had to learn to refine my ai prompts several times to obtain my desired results, but I’m learning how to word things. I have found the youcam line of products, while powerful, are fairly easy to learn if you are persistent and determined. I think the $40 a year is a fair price for the power of this app! Thank you!
Get Rid of Subscription Model, Add 1 Time Purchase

I would have rated this a 4 or 5, but I give it a 2 because you can only generate 2 pics a day unless you buy pro. The only purchase options are monthly or yearly subscription models which are the worst. I stop using apps that only offer a subscription. If a 1 time purchase option is offered then I’d change my rating. There are so many AI art apps on the App Store right now that it’s over saturated. So many other apps offer a lot more for free than this app does. Some of them have way better art styles and a lot more art styles that aren’t just for pro users who pay. They also offer way more images generated per day and options to watch ads to collect credits to generate more images or remove the watermark. Do yourself a favor and use Starry AI instead of this app until it is updated to offer a 1 time purchase and better art options.
