Fantastic if you don’t adjust brightness
Wickedgt
After recent 5.3.1 upgrade, when trying to increase brightness with brightness slider "when Brightintosh is activated", screen flickers/strobes violently. To clear strobing, app must be closed and reopened. Could possibly cause seizures.
works just as intended.
A Bunch of terrible JoJokes
I'm a sucker for high brightness and this just let me go to the max this display can do without the HDR content restriction. If you're worried that perhaps extremely high brightness may affect your display overtime. There can be slick hall for concern but Apple has various built-in software mechanics that prevent sustained high brightness like this to ever become a real issue.
Great asset

This has been a great plug-in, especially for the price. Also, it’s worth noting that I had a trouble-shooting issue on a Saturday morning, and the developer responded within 30 minutes. Obviously that shouldn’t be an expectation as this plug-in scales, but I think this level of alacrity at this level speaks volumes of the developer and anything he builds.
I shouldn't have waited for the free "trial"
Super0strich
When this went free with a 3 day trial, I was stoked. I installed it and it worked beautifully. When the trail expired, I tried to purchase it through the "store" inside of the app, but it refuses to connect. My firewall shows no blocking of traffic between my mac and the outside, and it won't work while tethered to my phone, either. I uninstalled and re-installed, and I still just get the spinning "loading" circle inside the store portion of the application. The "restore In-app purchase" and "Revalidate App Purchase" buttons do nothing, either.
Developer Response
Hello, we are sorry for the inconvenience. Unfortunately this issue is out of our hands as it relates to the connection with the App Store. Usually this problem can be fixed by closing BrightIntosh and restarting the MacBook. We hope you will give us another chance and feel free to contact us if there are further issues.
- Fixed settings so that the timer that automatically disables increased brightness can be disabled
