We researched a stand measurement tool, and discovered it's not technically feasible to compute accurate values from a two dimensional photo.In one test case we installed 132 feet of contiguous lights along the gutters and roof of a house. We took a photo from the street, then computed the length of the photographed lights using the front door as a scaling guide.The algorithm determined 83 feet of lights were visible; the other 49 feet were either completely hidden from the camera or visually shortened due to perspective projection.A measurement feature which states you need 83 feet of lights when in fact you need 132 feet is misleading and worthless. Intuitive. Well explained. Makes for professional proposal photos. The lighting features look great. The frames are cheesy in my opinion, except for the snowflake edge one. Kind of annoying that it makes you put a door down before adding an overlay. Overall, an excellent product that I’m happy to have for my Christmas lights business.

This app could be great with a few extra features. It has a scale overlay that makes you put a door. Why can’t it add a measuring feature for figuring out how many ft on line is needed?
