Not a stock render of someone else's living room: yours, photographed and restyled — the same walls, windows and doors, in a style you pick.
Restyle AI redesigns the room you already have. Photograph it, tap what you want changed, and the same room comes back with a new look.
The same room is the whole point. Ask an image model to restyle a space and it redraws the architecture with it — a window where your wall was. Structure lock, on by default wherever architecture could move, instructs the model to leave your walls, windows and doors alone. You can switch it off.
IT NEVER ASKS WHICH ROOM
No kitchen-or-bedroom question anywhere. The model is looking at your photograph, so it can already see; being told otherwise only overrode what it could see. You say one thing about the space — interior, house exterior or garden — three genuinely different jobs.
TEN THINGS TO DO WITH ONE PHOTO
Redesign gives the room a whole new look. Refresh makes small updates and leaves the rest alone. Furnish fills a bare space with furniture and decor. Declutter only tidies; nothing is restyled or moved. Paint repaints the walls and touches no other surface. Flooring replaces the floor and leaves everything above it put. Materials re-surfaces the room in one finish. Lighting relights it without moving anything. Outdoors replants and relays a garden or yard. Staging readies a room for a listing photo.
OR JUST TYPE WHAT YOU WANT
Four of those modes ask in words instead of a menu: Furnish, Declutter, Outdoors and Staging. Tell Declutter "take out the cables and the drying rack". Tell Furnish "a reading corner by the window and a long dining table". Tell Staging "a young family with two kids". Redesign takes one too, from the Home screen.
OR PICK FROM THE CATALOGUES
Fourteen styles: Modern, Minimalistic, Scandinavian, Japandi, Mid-century modern, Neoclassic, Industrial, Coastal, Bohemian, Farmhouse, Art deco, Vintage, Professional and Tropical.
Twenty-four named wall colours: Chalk White, Warm Linen, Sage, Deep Forest, Terracotta, Espresso and more. Ten floors, ten materials and eight lighting setups.
WHAT COMES BACK
Every result has a Compare view: drag between the photo you took and the one the AI made, and see for yourself whether the room held. Save it to your photos at full size. Share it. Ask for another variation, or the same room in a different style. Everything you make stays in Designs, and Find similar furniture hands it to Google Lens. There is no account to create and no email to hand over, though the app asks iOS if it may measure which ads brought you here; you can say no.
Up to 150 designs a day, with a 30-second wait between them; the count resets at midnight UTC. Every mode and every style is included, indoors and out. It runs on our servers, so it needs a connection. A design that fails does not count against your day.

The app is called Restyle AI now. New name, new icon, and behind them a rebuild rather than an update.
A new Home screen opens on a real before and after you can drag between, with eight quick actions under it: Style, Paint, Materials, Lighting, Furnish, Remove, Garden and Staging. Whatever you came to do is one tap from the photo.
Ten modes in all, each doing one thing and saying which: Redesign, Refresh, Furnish, Declutter, Paint, Flooring, Materials, Lighting, Outdoors and Staging.
Structure lock, on by default, tells the model to leave your walls, windows and doors where they are. There is a switch if you would rather let it move them. Declutter has no lock because it changes no architecture in the first place.
Four modes now ask in words instead of a menu: Furnish, Declutter, Outdoors and Staging. Redesign takes a written brief too, from the Home screen.
Six styles are new: Scandinavian, Japandi, Mid-century modern, Bohemian, Farmhouse and Art deco. Fourteen in total, alongside 24 named wall colours, 10 floors, 10 materials and 8 lighting setups.
The app no longer asks which room it is. Kitchen, bedroom, garage — the model can see that in your photograph, and being told otherwise overrode what it could see: a bedroom sent to a screen still holding "Living room" came back a living room. The question is gone from the onboarding and from Create.
What you do still say is whether the photo is an interior, a house exterior or a garden. That one is not cosmetic — it picks which prompt the server runs, and until this release a garden was generated as an interior with a different label.
The result screen gained a Compare view, a full-resolution save, another variation and try another style. A failed generation no longer costs you anything, and it tells you so.
One paywall instead of five, and it states the daily cap and the wait between designs instead of promising anything it cannot deliver.
