Based on domestic and foreign research, this textbook sets out modern recommendations for first aid to victims of accidents, injuries, poisoning and other conditions and diseases that threaten life and health. The manual is intended both for use as the main source of literature during the course of a training course, subject, discipline of first aid, and for self-study and repetition of the theoretical foundations of first aid. The publication is recommended by the Coordinating Council for the Field of Education "Health and Medical Sciences" as a textbook for use in educational institutions (registration number of the ECU review 578 dated October 18, 2018).
