Toddler Lock, the ultimate baby & toddler screen mode that turns your iPhone or iPad into a safe pretend Home Screen filled with tappable icons, playful interactions, and gentle sounds — without any risk to your real apps, data, or settings.
Give your toddler the phone experience they love — safely and worry-free.
Toddlers aged 1–2 naturally gravitate toward familiar gestures like tapping and swiping. Most traditional baby games can feel boring or confusing to them — but ToddlerLock mimics the real device interface they already love, so they stay happy and engaged while you get a quiet moment.
THE PROBLEM: THE "TODDLER TECH" STRUGGLE
We’ve all been there: you give your child your phone to keep them entertained, and thirty seconds later, they’ve called your boss, deleted an app, or ended up on a random website. ToddlerLock solves this.
KEY FEATURES FOR PARENTS & KIDS
• REALISTIC PRETEND HOME SCREEN — Looks and feels familiar for toddlers, yet keeps them safe.
• INTERACTIVE FAKE APPS — Each icon opens a playful, harmless interaction that delights little ones.
• SECURE APP LOCKING — Designed to work alongside iOS "Guided Access," ToddlerLock provides a focused environment where your child stays inside the game. No real calls, device locking, emails, or data changes can happen.
• SENSORY EXPLORATION — High-contrast visuals and interactive animations that respond to every tap, swipe, and shake.
• GENTLE SOUNDS & HAPTICS — Every tap responds with fun feedback to keep toddlers engaged.
• NO ADS, NO POP-UPS — A completely "clean" interface. No accidental clicks on banners or "Buy Now" buttons.
• OFFLINE MODE — Perfect for airplanes, doctors' offices, or road trips where data is limited.
• VOLUME CONTROL & PARENTAL GATE — Peace of mind for parents with settings tucked safely behind a parental lock.
DEVELOPMENTAL BENEFITS
• FINE MOTOR SKILLS: Encourages precise tapping and dragging movements.
• VISUAL STIMULATION: High-contrast patterns designed for developing infant eyesight.
• FOCUS & ATTENTION: Calm, repetitive gameplay that avoids the "overstimulation" found in many modern cartoons.
• COGNITIVE DISCOVERY: Helps toddlers understand the relationship between their physical actions and digital reactions.
WHY TODDLERLOCK WORKS BETTER THAN TRADITIONAL GAMES
Unlike standard baby game apps that require instructions or levels, ToddlerLock gives toddlers a playful interface they instinctively understand — no reading skills needed and no frustration when the screen changes unexpectedly.
TODDLERLOCK IS IDEAL FOR:
• Parents of toddlers who love tapping and swiping
• Caregivers who need pause-friendly distraction
• Families seeking safe screen time alternatives
• Anyone who wants peace of mind while kids explore digital play
WHY PARENTS LOVE TODDLERLOCK
Unlike high-energy apps that leave children frustrated and overstimulated, ToddlerLock uses a Montessori-inspired approach. It is gentle, creative, and—most importantly—safe. It acts as a digital rattle that grows with your child, from newborn sensory tracking to toddler shape-sorting.
THE "SAFE-SCREEN" PROMISE
We prioritize your child's privacy and safety. ToddlerLock does not collect personal data, does not require a login, and contains zero third-party advertising.
ToddlerLock combines intuitive play with parental peace of mind: no accidental calls, no interrupted routines, and no risk to your device or personal information. Just joyful tapping and swiping that feels fun for kids and secure for parents.
Download ToddlerLock today and transform your device into a safe, engaging toddler screen mode that kids love and parents trust.

This is so great I always went to my cousins house and now my baby cousins have there own little thing
Developer Response
Thank you so much! 💙We’re so happy to hear your baby cousins have their own little thing to enjoy now. It means a lot that our app can help make family visits a little easier and more fun. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! 😊
Eh
So Cal Rider 58
It’s too easy to go back to the normal phone screen. Opened the app, gave it to my baby, and he was back messing with my normal phone within a minute.
Developer Response
Hi So Cal Rider 58,Thank you so much for the feedback! We totally feel your frustration—babies are surprisingly good at "hacking" their way back to your home screen. The reason this happened is likely because Guided Access isn't active yet. Because of Apple’s security rules, we actually aren't allowed to "lock" your phone automatically from inside the app; only the iOS system itself can do that. However, once you set it up, it’s a total game-changer! You can enter Lock Mode in about two seconds just by triple-clicking the side button. To make it as easy as possible for you, we’ve recorded a detailed step-by-step instruction video specifically to show you how to get this set up:https://toddlerlock.app/guided-access-instructionsGive that a shot, and your phone (and your settings!) should be much safer next time. Thanks for sticking with us!
Inappropriate App Names
Esirea
BE CAREFUL. Trying to get a refund. Some apps said “Garbage Mother” and suggestive names.Edit: Thanks for the response, please do audit. There were other generated names such as “Rub High”, “Breast Shoe”, “Cream Gear”, “Claim Mouth”, “Purpose Rub”, “Pleasure Grocery”. There seems to be patterns in the library that were suggestive. I thought I was crazy at first but moms from groups agreed it sounds ‘grooming’.
Developer Response
Hi Esirea, I am incredibly sorry for this. Please know that this was absolutely not intentional. To keep things simple for toddlers, the app uses a random word generator to name the icons. It seems the algorithm paired two words together in a very unfortunate and inappropriate way. I am a solo developer, and I am mortified that this happened.I am immediately auditing the word library to remove any terms that could result in suggestive or offensive combinations to ensure this never happens again.Regarding your refund: Apple handles all transactions directly for security. You can request a refund instantly at reportaproblem.apple.com.Again, I sincerely apologize for this experience. It is not at all the safe environment I intended to build for parents.Edit: Thank you again for raising this. The fix has now been released. The app no longer uses randomly generated icon names and now uses only a curated, reviewed list of kid-friendly names to prevent inappropriate or suggestive combinations. We sincerely apologize for the experience and appreciate you helping us make ToddlerLock safer for families.
