Ensemble is the only app that provides direct and engaging communications and features for any and all stage shows for all stakeholders - including creative staff, performers, their families, and the larger community.
The app is free to use for any theater member and provides show information, communications, and continuous updates from show administrators to the performers and their communities. All can access any current, past, and upcoming shows and their details, and allows performers to send questions and posts to the entire show cast, that can be approved by the administrators. The app's first phase is focused on communications, while new features will be added to make it as robust and useful to all stakeholders as possible. These will include ticket purchasing, volunteer options, donations, and much more.
this is so much more helpful for me as a performer than the facebook groups. I don’t have facebook so I would have to get information through my parents which could get difficult and confusing. Now I can easily access it whenever and wherever I need.

Like the thought of having an app separate from social media, but improvements could definitely be made. It’s not super user friendly as you can’t select the show you are a part of- every time I want to go to the page, I have to scroll to find my show and see the page. It would be nice if subscribing to the show’s group meant only its information showed, or if there was a way to “pin” a show. There’s also no comment feature like in Facebook or easy way to communicate with others in the group without needing to search for contact info in the phone rosters.

The ensemble app has made being a performer at CMTSJ so much easier! With the major new update, however, it comes with some bugs and issues. Every time I open the app, it will kick me out of shows. And what I mean is one day I’ll be in a show page for say Fiddler on the Roof, but the next it will say I need to ask to join or my request to join is in approval. This is a little annoying, as it will take me out of shows I am in and will miss important information.

I used this app for A Christmas Carol with CMT and found it very useful. It allows me to get information without needing to go on any social media and keep updated with all notifications of the show. Everything from rehearsal times to the cast list to cast party info. It was all in an easy place to find.
