Blanks stay underlined until you fill them, and a ;shortcut offers its template. Templates sync across your devices and come with Premium. • Signatures are redesigned. Each account picks one for new emails and one for replies, the new editor has an HTML mode, and in the composer you tap your signature to pick another. • Send Again starts a new email from one you sent, with its words and files. • Write with AI and Write by Voice are on the composer's toolbar. Type or speak a few notes and get an email in your own style, learned from your sent emails. • Places is redesigned: your accounts in a strip at the top, cards with counts, folders in their own colours, and your filters. Touch and hold a card to choose which cards show. • Scheduled emails sync across your devices. By default the app asks before sending one. To send them on their own, choose Send Automatically in Settings › Sending. • Touch and hold a file to open it in another app, save it to Files or share it. Improvements • On iPhone, a thread opened from a notification or search shows the email you tapped, with the rest as rows. ⋯ holds its actions. • A snooze made on another device shows right away, and drafts reach your mail server while you write. • A draft you reopen comes back with all its words and attachments. • Filters can keep your own folders and Gmail labels. • Switching between All, People, Feeds, folders and filters is instant. • When selecting chats, the quick picks combine as filters. • An account you pick by hand shows as a chip above your chats, and Places lists its folders first. New • Select many chats at once. Drag with two fingers, or with one finger sideways once you're selecting. You can also use Select All or quick picks (Unread, Read, Feeds, People, Older Than a Month), and the actions sit in the bottom toolbar. In a conversation, Select turns it into a list of its emails so you can act on many at once. • A snoozed email now stays folded inside its conversation. When it comes back, the whole conversation moves back up your chat list, and replying ends the snooze. • Trash and Archive on a chat now show what they'll take: how many emails, which are starred or unread, and that your replies stay in Sent. You can choose Only the Latest and Remember my choice. • Privacy Report (Settings › Privacy) shows the trackers that were removed and where your data goes. An email that had trackers shows a "trackers removed" tag. • Links have their tracking removed, and you're warned when a link's text names a different site. • Sender Check warns you when an email may not be from the company it claims to be from. • Before You Send warns you before a password, card number or ID goes to someone new. It also offers Bcc for a long list of addresses and removes a PDF's author. Photos lose their location before they're sent. • Your Data Footprint lists the companies that have your address and drafts a Delete My Data request for you. • Keep Downloaded Emails lets you clear mail stored on your device. • IMAP server certificates are now checked. Each account has its own Verify Server Certificate switch. • Details › Connections shows how you know someone and through whom, with the emails behind it. Improvements • Large attachments are checked against each account's sending limit, with a warning before you send, and they upload in the background. • If an email can't be sent, it's saved whole in Drafts with its attachments, and the app tells you. • Search lists newest first and shows each sender's name the way that email gives it. • Quoted history in replies from Spark is folded away. • Stars now reach Outlook, and the folder on screen syncs every time. • New mail on a chat already in your list moves it to the top right away, and rows move smoothly. • Translations reviewed in 10 languages. German now uses "du", and European Portuguese is used throughout. Starter filters and groups follow the app's language. • Send to BusyCal. • Batch confirmations are easier to read in dark mode. Fixes • Scheduled emails go out whole, with their signature and in the right thread. • A forward now shows with the person you sent it to. • Large Trash and move actions finish. If some emails can't be moved, you'll see "Couldn't move N emails" with Retry. • Emails you sent now load in a conversation even when one is slow. • Text in conversation cards no longer overlaps. • Tapping a sender's initials no longer shows a black square. • Your own address can no longer end up blocked, which was hiding your sent replies. • A discarded draft no longer stays in the list. • Fixed a crash with some IMAP accounts.

New • Tracking pixels are removed from every email, so senders can't use them to see when you open it. Pictures now load through ChatInbox without cookies. In Settings › Privacy › Remote images, choose "Load images, block trackers" (the default), "Ask first" or "Load everything". Pictures in Spam and from blocked senders wait until you tap Load images. • Attachments are easier to spot. Choose whether files appear above or below an email in Settings › Preferences › Attachments. Threads, newsletter stacks and chat list rows now show when there are files, and the conversation filter has a new "With Files" option. • "Show my replies" adds your own replies when you filter a conversation to a folder. It appears as a chip on the filter banner, which now fits on one line. • Archiving a chat now asks whether to archive all of its emails or only the latest one. You can tell it to remember your answer. Notifications • Each new email gets its own notification with sound again. You can silence notifications from Feeds and new senders. • Notifications arrive more reliably when ChatInbox is in the background, and you're no longer notified about mail you already saw in the app. • Notifications show the email's subject and a preview, and the sender's initials when there's no photo. • Touch and hold a grouped notification to see every email in it, then tap one to open it. • The catch-up summary names each sender and subject. • Opening an email from a notification or from the Digest list now brings you back to that list. You can swipe to archive, delete or mark as read in the list. Improvements • The button that shows or hides quoted text now sits where the quoted text begins and stays in view while you read it, so you can hide it again without scrolling to the end. • Filter, search and Details always appear in a conversation's toolbar, whatever the contact's name. • Collapsed replies in a thread line up with the open email. Fixes • Fixed a crash at launch with some IMAP servers. • Archive no longer moves your sent emails or drafts. • Drafts no longer count as unread, and the Drafts folder stays in sync with your server. • Emails sent between your own accounts now appear in your chats. • Newsletters from a new sender go straight to Feeds. • The Undo message no longer covers the email's action buttons. • The bulk Trash confirmation now shows the correct number of emails. • After you clear a conversation filter, the filter button brings back the chat list's folder.

New • Swiping Trash on a chat now asks whether to move the whole chat or only the latest email. You can have it remember your answer, and change it later in Preferences. • Contact details now show relationship info only when you can act on it: a nudge to follow up when someone is slow to reply, a "Say hi" when you haven't been in touch for a while, and who introduced you to someone new. Improvements • The first email you open after coming back to the app loads much faster. • Syncing is quicker and keeps fewer connections open to your mail server. • If your mail server has no Trash folder, ChatInbox now offers to create one or lets you pick a folder. Before, the delete failed quietly. Fixes • IMAP accounts: an email you delete or move no longer stays behind on the server, where other mail apps still showed it. • Starring several emails at once on an IMAP account now saves the stars to the server.

You can also ask your mail a question and get an answer that quotes the email. • AI helpers: Waiting on You, a Reply Assistant, Catch up, reminders for promises and follow-ups, attachment summaries, and translating an email where you read it. • Profiles group your accounts as Work, Personal and more. Switch between them yourself or on a schedule. • Calendar shows your day with its mail, and you can answer invitations inside the email. Also new: Triage, widgets, and Siri and Spotlight support. • A new Places sheet, All · People · Feeds, pinned filters, Mail Rules, and Block Sender, which sends that sender's mail to Spam. • Filter a conversation on iPhone and iPad: Unread, Starred, a folder, one person in a group or a single day, with a count for each choice. • One Details screen on iPhone and iPad: tap ⓘ to see a contact's details and edit their name or photo right there. Improvements • Composer: attachments sit under your words, you can choose a photo size, and a quick check runs before sending. In a Messages chat, one tap opens the full composer with what you've typed. • Snooze from anywhere with Undo. Mark as Done now clears a whole thread. • Mail that arrives late comes as one quiet catch-up notification instead of a pile. • Pull to refresh is faster and conversations open right away. • Each email shows people's names the way that email wrote them, the same on all your devices. • Less battery use and heat: syncing eases off when your device is warm or in Low Power Mode, and pictures that can't load stop animating. • A refreshed app icon and welcome screen. Fixes • Sending no longer gets stuck with an endless spinner. • Mail you trash, archive or move no longer comes back. "Move all to Inbox" retries a dropped connection, and moving a chat to Trash takes your sent replies too. • Drafts are no longer lost to a crash or a failed save. • The full sync progress bar stays until the sync is done, and Gmail sync no longer stops early when Gmail is busy. • Fixed "Error loading content" on iPad, and your calendar events now show right after you allow access. • Email text stays readable in dark mode.

New • Reply or Forward with just the part you highlighted. Select any passage in a message, then choose Reply or Forward with Selection — the quote carries only what you picked, not the whole original. • Pinch to zoom on emails. Open any message full screen, zoom in up to 6x, and pan around — no more squinting at tiny text in newsletters and receipts. • Rotate to landscape while reading. Wide, desktop-style emails finally get the room they need. • Text Size now applies to the whole email. Your preferred size (and Dynamic Type) now scales the sender's own fonts too, not just ours. • Key details, right in the header. Delivery dates, order numbers, amounts and tracking links now appear as a single line beside the sender instead of a boxy card above the message — and only when they're genuinely useful. iPad • Portrait is a real layout now. Held upright, the iPad no longer letterboxes into a shrunken landscape view — the conversation takes the full screen and the chat list slides in when you want it. Split View and Stage Manager sizes are handled properly too. • Reply, Forward and the rest now follow you down a long email in a bar that settles at the end of the message, instead of making you scroll to the bottom to reach them. The ⋯ menu no longer repeats what that bar is already showing. • The calendar adapts the same way, bringing back the slide-up list of unscheduled items on narrower layouts. Improved • Group and company conversations now name the senders behind them on one scrollable line, instead of a tall block of cards that pushed the email itself off screen. The full list is a tap away in Details. • The group editor shows real members, a rename reaches the chat list straight away, and the list follows the group you just changed. • Thread headings inside a conversation respond to a tap again, and the chevron beside one opens the thread instead of raising a menu. • Every empty screen now uses the same native placeholder, and says why it's empty rather than just showing a picture. • The purchase screen leads with the plans and their prices, and its small print is legible. Fixes • Forwarding now always includes the original message. Forwards sent from the chat list, a swipe, a search result or a notification could go out with just your note on top — and without their attachments. Both are fixed. • Picking one of your own folders now actually filters the chat list to it. A custom mailbox could quietly fall back to showing every conversation. • Chat list names now match your Contacts. A row showing an old name or a bare email address updates as soon as the contact card is available. • On iPad, changing a filter no longer leaves the previous conversation open beside the new list — and the title bar no longer shows empty parentheses when nothing is selected.

New • Contacts, connected: ChatInbox can now use your address book — senders show the names, photos, job titles and companies you've saved, search finds people by their Contacts name even when the email header spells it differently, and you can view, edit or create a contact card without leaving the app. • Send a message onward: turn any message into a reminder, or hand it off to another app — with a link back to the original. • One row per company: group everyone at a company into a single conversation with one tap, and see members with their details plus call, message and mail actions right above the conversation. Improvements • Reopening ChatInbox is responsive from the first second, even on a large mailbox. • Spam, Trash, custom folders and Starred open instantly, even on large mailboxes. • New messages open in the field you need, and suggest recipients as you type. • The chat list now marks your own last reply with a small arrow instead of putting a name in front of the subject. • Messages sent to someone on Cc or Bcc now appear in that person's chat. • Your replies no longer show up as new unread mail on your other devices. • Messages deleted on another device or in another mail app now disappear from ChatInbox right away. • Newsletter and signature images keep their correct proportions instead of being stretched. • Every picture pasted into a message now loads, not just the first one. • The app icon is relit for a dark home screen. • Accounts on mail servers that use an alternative sign-in method (such as mailo.com) can now be added. Fixes • A message you delete now stays deleted instead of reappearing later. • Fixed a rare glitch where the Chats list would keep sliding in from the edge after launch. • Tapping a notification for a message that was already deleted now explains what happened instead of opening a blank screen.

New • Choose how email links open: in the built-in browser or in your default browser. You'll find it in Settings → Privacy → Links. • Turn on "Ask before opening links" to see the full web address, with the option to copy it, before anything opens. Improvements • Contacts settings are easier to navigate: Blocked Contacts and Remembered Senders are now their own rows with counts, and creating a group is always one tap away. • Replies from Mail now tuck the "On …, so-and-so wrote:" line away with the rest of the quoted text, instead of leaving it stranded above the message. • Spam, Trash and other folders now open right away when you come back to the app in the morning, instead of sitting empty for 10–20 seconds. • Mail you received overnight lands sooner after opening the app, and folders you're actively looking at refresh on their own when new mail arrives on the server. • Fixed a problem where the first launch after restarting your iPhone or iPad could show stale mail until you closed and reopened the app. Fixes • Deleted messages stay deleted. Moving a message to Trash no longer lets it quietly reappear minutes later, and if the server refuses the move you now get a clear message and a way to retry. • Unread counts on group and company rows no longer collapse to a much smaller number after you read a message. • Email text no longer overlaps itself when a sender uses large headings, and white blocks in receipts and newsletters no longer punch through dark mode.

New • New mail notifications: ChatInbox now asks for permission on first run, with a quick explainer, so new messages can reach your Lock Screen. • Schedule a message to send later — and undo a send from the dock right after you tap Send. • Search is rebuilt as one blended list of people, conversations, and messages, with clearer headings. • Filter by star or tag from the drawer, including subtags, plus a quick way to remove all stars. • Reply and Forward now ride with you — the action bar sticks to the bottom of a long email while you read, then settles back into place at the end. • Settings shows the app version at the bottom. Improvements • The composer got a full pass: recipient chips you can select and remove, a tidier attachment tray, one-tap signature removal, and smoother typing. • Conversation filters are now removable chips instead of full-width banners, so you can see what's narrowing your view and clear it in one tap. • Message and thread options open in a plain, native sheet sized to fit its content. • Press and hold any pinned face to act on that person without opening the conversation. • Setting up an account by hand is easier: the outgoing mail fields are optional and reuse your incoming login. If a server refuses the connection, you now see exactly what it said instead of a generic error. • Messages open faster — the body no longer stalls for a second or two when you tap into a conversation. • Messages only get marked as read when you actually open one. A new "Mark messages as read when opened" setting lets you turn that off, and the Unread badge is back on the open message so you can flip it back with one tap. • Sender pictures appear instantly and no longer flash a blank circle, and mail sent through a marketing service now shows the real sender everywhere. • The Feeds tile keeps its sender faces up to date as new mail arrives. New • Relationship insights (Settings → optional): open a contact's details to see how the two of you actually relate — who usually reaches out first, typical reply speed, when you tend to talk, quiet stretches and reconnections, plus a tappable chart of your message rhythm over time. It's built entirely on your device from who-and-when only — never the contents of your mail. Improvements • Tapping a contact now opens an unread message fully expanded, so you can read it straight away instead of tapping "Expand" first. • Gmail messages now show the same time gmail.com does. Some mail from bulk senders could be off by a few minutes. Fixes • Fixed conversations in the chat list showing a nonsense date like "0001-01-01" instead of the real time of the last message.
