Now you can conveniently view connected 8seats users and other team members in your directory, helping you to jump into conversations faster. We’ve also added the ability to delete pending invited users – in case you invited somebody by mistake, or need to free up space on your Table.

We’ve upgraded Tables with a new feature that allows you to message everyone you invite immediately. And yes, that even means you can message people before they have joined 8seats. Any messages you send will be ready and waiting for them once they’ve joined your Table. We’ve also made some optimisations and squashed some bugs.

We’ve made a quick update to the app. If messages are sent while you don’t have an active internet connection, they are stored on your device and sent once you have an internet connection again. These saved messages are now still sent – even if you have signed in and out of your account.

We’ve increased the number of Tables and Rooms you can create, and upped the maximum size of Quick Chats to 8. Plus, you can also now easily share messages to other apps, or copy message text to the clipboard. Simply long hold on message to see these new options.

We’ve made some significant performance enhancements for conversations across Tables, Rooms and Quick Chats. We’ve resolved some core issues where conversations could fail to load, and have applied better management of larger numbers of messages and conversations. The messaging experience is now faster and snappier with less delays in loading messages. We’ve also fixed a number of bugs, made some small improvements to some features – plus added a bunch of new background images for you to customise your Tables and Rooms.
