Crafted as an indispensable companion tool for field crews, the Render Networks iOS app offers a comprehensive overview of assigned work, equipping crews with essential information and instructions for efficient task completion. Beyond delivering crucial details, the app empowers crews to create, collect and submit real-time as-built data with high-accuracy GPS positioning, including information about completed work, materials used, and identification of any issues requiring attention. Crews can also redline task geometries/locations and provide photographic evidence, supporting supervisors and project managers in quality assurance and compliance activities.

From time to time you may wish to switch which device you want to use the Render Networks field application with. One important thing to understand is that ONLY ONE Render account should be using one device at any given time or you are risking data loss!
To avoid data loss when switching between devices, follow these simple steps:
1. Sync your data on Device 1 (e.g., iPad)
2. Log out from Device 1 (e.g., iPad)
3. Log in on Device 2 (e.g., iPhone)
4. Sync to ensure you have the latest data on Device 2 (e.g., iPhone)
If you’re already logged in on Device 2, use the ‘Reset Device Data’ on the settings page. This will fetch the latest data from the Render server without sending any outdated task data from device 2 to overwrite the more recent data collected on Device 1.

Version 2.1.0 – Introducing the Field Quality Agent
Our new Field Quality Agent (FQA) is available in this release. FQA checks for photo quality, distance, and recency in the field, then uses AI to review evidence and recommend the next action once a task is completed, saving valuable task review and approval time. FQA is a paid add-on and needs to be enabled in your project before it appears in the app — get in touch for a demo and free 30-day trial.

Version 2.0.0 – Site Plans & File Attachments
This is our biggest release yet. Two major new capabilities are now available in the Render iOS mobile app.
Site Plans – See your engineering drawings on the map
View geo-referenced construction drawings as a visual overlay directly on the project map. Select a Site Plan from Map Options, adjust its transparency with the opacity slider, and let the map auto-zoom to your plan's location. Site Plans sit cleanly beneath your task and design layers so nothing important is obscured.
File Attachments – Reference documents on every task
Access design plans, permits, work orders, and specs attached to your tasks – all within the app. View PDFs, images, and documents natively without leaving Render. Files are cached at the site (Subsector) level, so once downloaded they're instantly available across all tasks in the same site.

* High-Accuracy GPS Integration - We've integrated Trimble Mobile Manager (TMM) to give you access to professional-grade GPS accuracy! Connect your Trimble GNSS receiver directly from Settings and the app will automatically use the most precise location data available. If your connection drops, we'll seamlessly fall back to your device's GPS and alert you.
* Live GPS Accuracy Indicators - Know your location precision at a glance! Color-coded accuracy indicators (Green/Yellow/Red) now appear on maps, during photo capture, and in Settings. The blue location dot dynamically adjusts to show your real-time accuracy, giving you confidence in every data point you collect.
* Enhanced Photo Metadata - Photos captured in-app now include high-accuracy GPS coordinates and accuracy measurements in the EXIF data. You'll see the GPS accuracy displayed right on the photo's metadata strip (e.g., "± 2ft").
* Navigate to Tasks - Get turn-by-turn directions to your task locations instantly! Tap the new Navigate button on any task to open Apple Maps with automatic routing from your current location to the job site.
