This app stands out for its visually appealing design, user-centric interface, and the ability to extract pertinent information from the flow gauges. With the on going government cut backs, expect delays getting maintenance, and updates.Certain features might require formal requests to USGS or local sponsorship from local fishing clubs on a yearly basis.Using a few failed fishing flow apps due to on going support or lack of interest. Nonetheless, being an avid angler he continues to show dedication to the fishing community, emphasizing the importance high quality flow apps for evaluating river conditions.

Fantastic App
Blue Liner Review
The app is really user friendly and intuitive. I had a question about the app, I emailed the company and Ryan got back to me the next day. Incredible customer service. If you are serious about river sports, this is a must-have app!

Room for improvement

The apps appearance and interface is great. I like the ability to see temps in conjunction with the flow. Why I give it a low rating is that I’ve found the graphs are only graphing readings one or so times a day, and often lagging several days. Unfortunately I’ve already paid for a year subscription so I have invested hope of seeing improvements within the data representation and frequency.
Developer Response
Thank you for the review and also thank you for being a subscriber. If you are not completely happy with the subscription then please reach out to Apple for a refund. They have a liberal refund policy and I’m confident they can help.Regarding how often the data is updated: yes charts are only showing the average value for a particular day. It doesn’t show data any more granular than that. Second, if the chart isn’t updating for a few days, then that’s because the USGS data isn’t updating in that time frame. That being said, the latest version (3.0.0) does incorporate NOAA data for charts and for some streams that means that there is more data available. Unfortunately there is a wide spectrum of data and how often it is reported from stream to stream. Finally, in the latest version I have an option for a free 7 day trial. Hopefully that helps users get the advanced features and try them out before they pay. Thanks again. And if you find that any of this helps then please consider updating your app rating as that really helps me out.
Was good.. until it wasn’t

Had it for about three months now, purchase the subscription so I could have the widget on the background of my phone. Has worked perfect up until yesterday and now it’s telling me that if I want to use the widget, I need to purchase a subscription. I have deleted, and re-downloaded with no luck.
Developer Response
I agree the widgets are really nice, I use them myself. I noticed that this happened on my own device the other day as well, and it has never happened before. I believe there was an Apple App Store glitch recently that caused this. I turned my phone off and then back on and the widgets are working again. Can you try that? Also, please email me at bluelinerflows@icloud.com and I can help address this issue. I want to make sure it gets fixed for you.
Minor bug fixes.
