Support is very responsive , they seem to sell some fully assembled lamps for those that are not into building their own.

Everything locked behind a paywall for something that is open source to install on a esp32. Defeats the purpose of why the developer probably ever made WLED available to the public. Wasn’t able to do anything but turn off and on unless I payed. So no telling how the actual app is.

This isn’t a fee for WLED itself — it’s free and open source as always. The subscription is basically a donation that supports my work on building a polished app with way more features than the native web version. Everyone’s time has value, even the original WLED project asks for donations — the subscription is just how I keep improving the app.

Spam. App does not have any ads popup.
In this update, we worked on the device discovery process.
Nothing loud — but very much to the point.
For users, the changes are barely noticeable.
For the WLED device, though, they make a real difference.
The app now finds the device more reliably, with fewer “wait… where did you go?” moments.
This is a minor update that doesn’t try to impress,
but makes working with the lamp smoother.
