skybook Aviation Cloud is an integrated EFB application that connects the workflow of airlines, for a truly streamlined flight deck experience; developed by Bytron Aviation Systems.
The skybook app is so much more than an Electronic Flight Bag or Electronic Flight Folder (EFF). It combines with a powerful ground system for a fully connected flight phase operation; providing that single point of truth for flight data management.
skybook EFB provides a class-leading user interface and modules that provide huge operational efficiencies.
Electronic Flight Bag Features:
- Automatically generated digital briefing packs taken directly from the OFP that can be updated and alerting crew to issues that could impact the sector being flown
- An interactive WX & environment map, as well as a full range of flight weather charts
- A streamlined Journey Log for improving flight phase data capture with configurability tailored to your operations
- Custom digital forms via the EFB that can be instantly transmitted back to the ground team removing the need for paper based reporting
- Document library for easily viewing manuals and flight documents specific to an aircraft or fleet for up-to-date information and improved audit trail.
EFB Post-flight data:
- The completed EFB data syncs back to the ground system for a range of flight data analytics such as fuel usage, delays and on-time performance
- A fully auditable flight record is generated which increases operational awareness of flight performance, by capturing a wide range of actual flight data and incident reports.

Sector Attachment Notifications - In addition to the pop-up notifications, all notifications for a sector are now displayed on the Notifications tab.
Loadsheet Upload - It is now possible to upload a loadsheet to the skybook Ground Portal, which pilots can view, sign and distribute as required in the pre-flight section of the skybook EFB. If a new loadsheet is uploaded it is also possible to compare it with the current one and accept or reject the new version.
Map module update - The existing map functionality in the Map module has been replaced with Mapbox to provide a modernised map.
Additional Updates
Landing Performance field metrics - A new operator setting has been created to allow values in the LDA, Landing Weight and LDTA fields in the Landing Performance module to be captured using imperial measurements.
