Nice, but the UI has a clunky UX feel. Tiny text

Great to have a contrast checker at the ready!

I’ve used a ton of different contrast tools over the years but have stuck with this one. Love having a clean, simple app that lives in my menubar and is always there when I need to do a quick check.
Incredibly clunky

This is a great example of a very pretty app that also has terrible UX.- Why not just show it when clicking the menubar item? Why do I have to then go to show/hide?- The animation showing me that I can enter a color is really annoying. I get it this app is for comparing color contrast. I don’t need an infinite animation to remind me of that.- Why do I have to type the color? That’s incredibly annoying. Do what you need to do to let me select a color. I don’t always have the value. Sometimes I’m just trying to compare something on screen.- What’s the point of the slow fade when showing/hiding the settings? Just show it to me instantly. Why slow things down?

Love the feedback. Will work on it! Are you really sure that it's only worth 1 star, though?
Super helpful for accessibility

Shortcut is great, quick and unobtrusive use in any program. On-the-fly adjustment through the native MacOS palette updates the contrast ratios for tweaks. Easy to copy values in a variety of formats.
Version 2.0.0 is here! Enjoy a refreshed experience with support for macOS 26’s new Glass Effect, plus performance improvements for an even smoother workflow.
