I have really loved the fact that there are real people to talk to anytime. It has answered all of my questions and concerns without any of the judgement (almost like an outside observer) instead of having to feel judged by family for not knowing something. All of the tips I have received have added up with my pediatricians advice, and they have all worked amazingly! Also, I really like how I can ask about what developmental milestones to look out for, which has kept my little boy ahead of the curve! It has been a good sounding board, someone to talk to, someone to listen, and someone to ease your concerns or random FAQs about parenting! I love the Joy app!

Skeptical at first - life changing

I got this app and subscription as part of my photography package that was offered at my delivering hospital. I rolled my eyes and figured I would never use it. Wrong!! Baby sleep is hard and it is so refreshing and helpful to have an expert at your fingertips to help. They have helped with each issue, not just a once and done. It has definitely helped my peace of mind and certainly helped me get more sleep!

Membership charge

I got this app to access my babies photos from the hospital, automatically was enrolled in the membership to even access the photos, which was $37 quarterly, mind you, as a freshly postpartum mom, I couldn’t think straight and I just was trying to get my babies pictures. Well when the charge came out 3 months later, I contacted customer support to cancel my subscription since I couldn’t find where to cancel anywhere on the app & so I didn’t pay for it again. They offered to cancel and refund my payment, which was awesome, until about a week later when i noticed they never cancelled my subscription & never refunded my payment. When i contacted support again, they read my message and didn’t respond for hours. Really predatory towards newly post partum moms. It’s disgusting.

Scam-like Charging

I got automatically enrolled in this app after baby photos were taken at the hospital. It was helpful for a few questions but ultimately felt I didn’t need to be paying $40/month for something I could ask my pediatrician. I cancelled my entire account/profile and was STILL CHARGED the next month. Since my entire account was deleted I have no way to log in to try and remedy the situation and had to contact customer support to cancel. I’m upset that it’s clearly not straightforward to cancel the subscription (as I thought I did) and also why are they keeping my credit card information for a deleted account? They need to be held accountable for having such a difficult cancellation process.
