We were visiting from USA and found the app very helpful for our 5 day stay in Edinburgh. It downloaded quickly, was quick to set up an account and payment system and got us to several sites scattered around Edinburgh quickly and inexpensively. We used the couples pass mostly. The route planning and schedule information was very clear. The Lothian app and transit system is a great asset to your lovely city!

This app is much more modern than the previous offering. I also appreciate the tickets being in one app.BUT there’s no point in any of this if the bus times are unusable. The departure times aren’t presented in any recognizable order (I would expect it to be soonest to latest) and it leaves some departures out. This is unacceptable.As an aside, it would be ideal to have trip planner default to current location for departure…

Old app was much better. This doesn’t save your place when you minimise your screen, routes that haven’t changed in years are incorrect, requires way too many taps to plan a trip, information layout isn’t as helpful as before. I understand internationals like me may be impressed if they have almost no public transportation, but definite and easy improvement can and should be made.

This was such a simple and useful thing to do on the previous app. Why is the only way to access this info through a link to the website buried in a folder? Did anyone do any UX focus groups for this app? Yuck.
