CutLabX is a GRBL laser engraving machine software that supports commonly used image formats. It can also be used for designing graphics, text, and more.
CutLabX is a GRBL laser engraving machine software that can load common image formats and easily create outstanding works with just a few simple steps. It can also be used for designing graphics, images, text, QR codes, and more. Compared to other GRBL software, CutLabX is suitable for both professional users and beginners. It provides a large collection of free design resources that are constantly updated. If you are skilled in design, you can upload your own designs to CutLabX for others to use and earn commissions. In summary, it is a great alternative to software like Lightburn and LaserGRBL!
CutLabX supports all GRBL devices such as Ortur, XTool, ATOMSTACK, Twotrees, Glowforge, and more.
First, you can only use this if it is connected to your machine, which makes it difficult to use and create. Next the design will randomly jump half way across the screen so that only half your design is visible. There are very few design tools in the app. It’s free and it does work with my engraver, but to do any design you need another app then transfer it to thi app for printing.
47GB!?

There appears to have been an update that is making the program unusable. First, I went to engrave and the program froze. Then, I received a message that the system was out of memory (never happened before). This caused my system to restart. I attempted the same project, and it did the same thing. The window stating that System memory was out of memory popped up again, and I noticed that CutLabX is using 47GB of memory. Not even Chrome with numerous tabs open is that large. Am I missing something, or did they break the software?
Was my go to software until last month.

I used this software as it was super easy to use, but ever since last month, the software disconnects mid way into loading preparing to engrave. There is ABSOLUTELY no way around this. I am being forced to use another program. It is something that has to do with the software to engraver because the phone app works fine. I would highly suggest AGAINST this software… I really wish they would fix it. I have sent several emails and reports of the crash. No response back.
Super!

I see someone posted a one star? Crazy. I have been using Lightburn, and this is free and seems to be working perfectly fine. The interface is very someplace, and there is nothing wrong with that.I see there are in-app purchases? Havent seen any yet… Will update if it becomes clear that $$ is needed
