In this release, we’ve made improvements to the Map screen to make it easier to use, and perform much better on older devices and mobile networks. - You can now Save your favorite worlds from the Map screen. Build a collection of worlds you want to keep your eyes on and tap the Saved filter to see them all in one place. - We’ve added a Recent filter to the Map screen. You can now easily hop back and forth to the worlds you are travelling between. - The Map screen now shows your current world at the top so you can quickly like it or save it to your collection. - We made big performance improvements to the Map screen - older devices will hang less often, long loads won’t block your navigation of the journal menu, and Storycraft will use much less of your cellular network data. - We fixed a bug that was preventing players from searching their own private recipes in the Recipe list. We’ve removed the Map Grid from the game to better focus our efforts on showing worlds in a list format. We’ll be planning new ways to show off your worlds and their connections in future release. Your identity in the game is yours forever unless you decide to change it! - You can now properly scroll back through all of your activity notifications in Storycraft - Wildflowers no longer produce grass - only flowers! We also renamed 3 resources that had identical names to more clearly differentiate them.

Hey Crafters! In this release, we’ve streamlined the ways you can interact with your characters in Storycraft, and fixed a few other bugs to improve your experience playing. Your characters are now easier to interact with and move around the world. You can setup your world the way you really want and more easily complete their requests! - Character requests can now be completed by smoothly panning around your world and tapping on your new creation. You can seamlessly show them different creations until they are satisfied. You will no longer have to struggle with kicking them in and out of their homes or changing your ideal design when completing requests! - Characters will now remember where you left them outside. If you fast travel while they are following you, they will automatically return to their hangout spot. - Characters can be asked to return to their assigned home directly from chat. You can also summon them back into their home from an empty building if they are not there. Arrange your world just the way you want! - We’ve made the button to assign characters homes much clearer and easier to tap Many bugs have been fixed for your characters to help you interact with them, and setup your world just the way you imagined it. - Characters will no longer have a long reaction scene and grant relationship points every time you assign them a new home. They will continue to grant relationship points whenever you complete a request, chat, or give them gifts! - Characters will no longer reference a made up world when speaking to you about their home request. They will stay immersed in YOUR world! - Characters will no longer ask for a home in your world if you have already assigned them one - Fixed a bug where characters could get stuck with only one task complete on a home assign quest - Characters should now return home properly when you ask them to - We fixed many bugs that would cause the “follow”, “assign home”, and “quest complete” buttons to stop working Other bugfixes: - Fixed a bug that would cause duplicate resources to appear on your recipes - Fixed a bug that would prevent you from crafting certain recipes (aka. Hey Crafters! We are excited to say this release has the top requested feature in Storycraft - STORAGE! We’ve also got a couple quality of life improvements thanks to your suggestions in Discord. Read on for the details… You can now create, craft, and use storage containers to stockpile resources and crafted items in your worlds. - Create custom storage containers with prompts like “treasure chest” or “a hollow tree stump for storing things” - Drag and drop any stack of resources or crafted items into storage containers, or use the new item tooltips to tap and transfer them. Stacks can be as big as you’d like! - Every storage container remembers what you placed in it. You can crafter multiple storage containers to organize different collections however you’d like! - In your Solo worlds, you can make storage containers Private or Shared. Shared containers allow any player to leave you gifts or take something for their journey. Give and receive treasures as a community, with control for your preferences! - Players can place and access each other’s storage containers in Shared worlds. We added these quality of life features based on community requests: - If more than 1 item becomes available to craft, the notification now summarizes them so you don’t have to wait for tons of notifications to clear from your view. - You can filter recipes by Buildings or Storage, and the Craft Now filter is now the first filter you see. We fixed a longstanding bug too: - Fixed a longstanding issue where the inventory would say it was full even when you could still craft or accept an item into the final slot.
