Great early build for this app/service. It’s very straightforward but does still allow for a good number of main website features. It acts a bit like a messaging app but with profiles and search ability. On that note I do have a few critics that hopefully can be built upon in future versions (or perhaps I’m just missing there to toggle them on 😅)1. Returning to Main Messages Tab after replying – this may seem like a small thing, but I’ve really found it tedious that the app automatically bumps you back to the top of your messages inbox after swiping/returning from replying to a single message. If you have a fuller mailbox, this means you have to scroll down every single time.. Which is only made worse if you accidentally click the wrong message, as not only do you have to scroll again, but unread and read messages sit in different tabs, meaning you now have to search and scroll back for that other one..2. Limited Notifications – this maybe something I have missed in the settings, but if not, then the notification of “you have a message from (name)” does seem a little limiting.. at its core it’s the very basic one all apps provide.. However, the notification defaults back to the most RECENT message you got air and when it shows the name.. While I love now getting mobile notifications, if you happen to miss the notice or are not on your phone, then ultimately you still end up not realizing if a specific user had messaged you. Not until you log on and see it in your mailbox..Personally been in the Meetfighterss community for years now, and have always wanted an app for better convenience & to receive mobile notifications. So I was thrilled to hear the announcement of this App! I tried to be as objective as I can while leaving this review, so by all means please come to your own conclusions, have fun and welcome to the community! 💪 ~ PA Wrestler
This release bring various improvements and quality-of-life features to the messaging system.
The highlights include:
* Ability to reply to a message with quoting it, making it easier to reference specific messages in a conversation.
* Easily opening the profiles of the message sender in group chat.
* Pinning and muting conversations.
* Start a new conversation with a user directly by typing their name.
Additionally, the map feature, not widely used, has been removed to reduce clutter and improve the user experience.
