Entering the realm in an instant, you find yourself in a pixelated world of swords and magic.
"Pixel Heroes: Tales of Emond" is a classic Japanese-style RPG pixel art casual idle game. The legendary Goddess of Light created the sacred Emond Continent, but the magical civilization here is quietly eroded by evil thoughts, and the dormant Demon King is about to awaken after millennia. In the chaotic timeline, a bizarre dream unfolds, unlocking your long-sealed memories. You begin to reminisce about everything in the distant past: on the war-torn continent full of scars, there has always been a resolute figure leading people towards the light, and that figure is "You," the executor!
The revival of memories means loosening the seal, and the fate of the floating continent is once again in your hands. Faced with the impending storm, what choices will you make as you stand in the center of the tempest?
[Gameplay]
As an idle game, "Pixel Heroes: Tales of Emond" emphasizes "easy gameplay + super high welfare + differentiated content." Draw to obtain characters, gain resource benefits through idle play, and obtain equipment and more resources through dungeons. Then, upgrade, advance, and enhance characters for enjoyable development, easily boosting your combat power. Sing your way through, knocking down layers of levels—the main gameplay content of the game.
The game's battles use a semi-turn-based and semi-real-time action bar mechanism, with the combat process fully entrusted to the system for automatic control. No need to study skill casting, reducing the threshold for beginners, while maintaining strategic depth. Various interesting gameplay elements also keep veteran players passionate about the game.
[Game Features]
Vintage pixels, exquisite illustrations
The game adopts a retro pixel art style, unique among today's idle games, providing an exhilarating and nostalgic combat experience. This is my personal review guys as you see I gave it a 5 star rating. I’m not going to lie but this game is actually pretty good it gives off Final Fantsy Record Keeper, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius and Last Claudia and I really love that about this game. The characters have voice dialogue and the characters designs look great. Um it’s not very hard to level up your characters as of yet and they definitely do give you a good amount of items and currency to poll characters. Now the gameplay this is we’re you depend on as a person as a players and honestly this were I would say I would give it a 4 and half stars. The gameplay is basically you just getting your characters ready and then you sent them out to battle and you just watch them fight then you watch little bit of story then you keep fighting till the boss then little bit of story and that’s really the cycle of it. I don’t mind it but I can see lots of people not be turn by it and I completely get it. Overall the game is great just it really comes down to you as a person but it really is a good game if you enjoy anything like Final fantasy record keeper or brave Exvius or last Claudia or any games similar to them I say you’ll enjoy Pixel Hero’s. I say 5 stars but I can see people rating it 4 1/2 and I completely understand it
An Excellent “Heroes of Crown” Ripoff
Shipwrecksos
To start let me say that this is indeed a great game overall. It’s one of the most easily accessible “Idle” RPGs out there, with numerous activities / modes, and fantastic artwork and soundtrack (and even fully voice acted characters). The game gives you just enough resources to keep active without any “energy” required to attempt most battles. The absolute best aspect of all is that literally every single resource spent on leveling up a character can be refunded / reset at any time, as many times as you want, at ZERO COST. This is incredibly rare in idle RPGs, and greatly helps for experimentation and team building (not worrying about wasting resources on obsolete or lower tier characters.) The not-so-great aspect of this game is that every single facet of the game is a carbon copy of the (now defunct) game Heroes of Crown. Seriously, all progression, summoning, and even menus are a direct ripoff of Heroes of Crown, and if you’ve ever played that game, you can know exactly what to expect here. What’s even worse is that you need tons (and I mean TONS) of fodder copies of characters if you’re going to make any serious progression to higher “star” levels, and this gives even the slightest whales a significant advantage over Free players. Make no mistake, this is just as Pay-2-Win as any other Idle game. The only saving grace is that there’s enough filler activity and accessible story to keep you having fun without blowing tons of real money. But for what the game does well, it does REALLY well. Just don’t expect to top any leaderboards (or even make it into a decent guild) unless you fork out some major cash. It’s worth trying out, which is more than I can say for so many other games on the market.
Just WOW!
Daddytang
Honestly as someone who always tries the newest gacha’s as they come out my expectations for this were average at best.. Man o’ Man was I wrong. Everything about this game is good. Honestly as I sit here I’m struggling to find something to complain about. The gameplay is fun and mesmerizing. A large variety of characters that is updated all the time. It’s very FtP friendly but like every single gacha out there you’re not going to break into the top group by being FtP. One of my favorite things about this title is wether or not you do spend money the rewards are outrageous. I spent 10 bucks on a pack the other day and by the end of completing my dailies I had over 20k diamonds! If you complete the active quests you WILL grow in power and you WILL be able to acquire the characters that you want. There are 3 different pity systems as well as multiple stores that allow you a half a dozen ways to acquire top tier characters with spending a dime. It will simply just take longer. In summary there’s nothing bad about this game. It truly has all the good parts of gacha’s rolled in. Best of luck to you all!
Fun but ultimately Pay to Win
T roke
This game is honestly super fun, the character building and team building is very interesting and characters have some really cool abilities. But ultimately it’s pay to win in regard to playing against other players. They have these “limited time event modes” which again are really fun, but with these modes comes new “limited characters” that you can only unlock during the event. There is no chance to get them once the event is over… and usually these characters are OP. And to unlock these characters you can use in game currency (diamonds) which truthfully are easy to earn but they limit how much you can use per day (note that you have to draw 120 times to have it guaranteed to earn the hero), or you can buy the special tokens at a “CHANCE” to get the new character. In the end it’s all luck. And even if you get the new character it’s impossible to upgrade it unless you buy their special deals during the event. If you wanted to max out the hero like the new one Azure Phoenix it would cost you over $500 which is just sickening. In no way should this ever be acceptable, even if you earn the character you can only level it up so much. Something has to change with their limited event characters, there has to be a way to earn them outside of spending money.
