Amazing game! Love it

I started with Duskwood, that game was amazing, was addicted from the start. I am ecstatic that they had a way to bring in the amazing characters from Duskwood and brought in new characters for Moonvale, as well with a new mystery to solve with a conclusion from Duskwood to explain further. I am totally hooked on this game and it is now my favorite of all time. I have been searching for a mystery game that I could have choices, its like your in the game yourself. I’m excited and can’t wait for a new episode. Oh forgot to say all the characters are perfect! Big thank you to all who have been involved in this game, You guys rock!

I started with Duskwood, that game was amazing, was addicted from the start. As of the release of Episode 2, Moonvale is not only becoming a much more intriguing story, but also starting to look and play more like the labor of love the small dev team pitch it as. They listened to widespread feedback that, despite being a small studio, the use of AI slop instead of art and photography is unacceptable, and have begun phasing it out (hopefully completely, in future updates).They also added single-purchase packs with real money prices to unlock bonus content for an entire episode at a time, rather than forcing players to use gems as a premium currency that hides the real cost. I love this, and for that reason am choosing to revise my review here to 4 stars. I look forward to making it 5 stars when all the ai content is removed!

I don’t understand why you have to either watch a bunch of ads to get coins and gems or buy several packages to make progress through the story line. I loved Duskwood. I’m not comparing the story lines because I know it’s a separate game. When I played duskwood i purchased the choice to play without dealing with ads. This game has potential and it’s made by the same company. I don’t understand why this game doesn’t have that option. I like the ai profile add on but again why do we have to gamble and waste gems to get what we want. I have been waiting for this game for years just to realize that I can’t play it. I’m just disappointed. I’m a mom. I cannot spend that kind of money for a phone game. I also don’t have time to watch several of ads just to get 5 gems. It just seems greedy to me especially coming from a small company.

I just finished episode 2, and the whole thing is coming together in a way that shows a massive improvement over the release of episode 1. The developers made key changes, such as removing a lot of AI generated content and allowing for a way fans can reasonably support them through worthy paid rewards, that make the game experience more pleasant. I wish the episodes themselves revealed just a little bit more than some of the teasing here (like the slightest bit of information about Duskwood would be great beyond what appears so far), but I find this to be such an incredible effort and am grateful to the developers for the incredible work they have done on this game.
