I was looking for an alternative for google notebook lm because I like to listen to AI generated podcasts based off of the study guides I make for my exams but it wouldn’t work for my most recent study guide (probably because it was 88 pages long… lol) that’s when I came across this gem! I actually haven’t even used the podcast option because I LOVE the practice quizzes. The questions are pretty similar to my nursing exams so it helps me know where I need to study more. Kinda sad I just discovered it with only two months of nursing school left but definitely worth the investment regardless!

Thoughts and Feelings (and suggestions)

This is a great app, and it is a great combination of factors that can help you study. The layout is intuitive, it looks good, the AI is helpful. However I have a few complaints and a couple suggestions. 1) I think the premium subscription is way too expensive. At $20 a month this is among of the most expensive apps of its type. The yearly subscription is a much better deal but I can’t help guy feel that $70 a year is still steep. 2) There needs to be an option for us to be able to pick how in depth we want are questions/notes to be. Unfortunately I have noticed that occasionally the AI skips over material in the notes or questions. I think that there should be various level of information coverage ranging from summaries to explicit detail of everything. 3) please please please, implement a dark mode. A dark mode helps so much for late night studying. Besides that however the support has been very helpful, and the frequent updates fixing things has been great. I think some basic QoL fixes could make this a phenomenal app though. (Please consider adjusting the price of premium)

We respond to all our users' feedback and try to integrate your ideas into the product as much as we can. That leads me onto the next bit of good news: dark mode for the app is currently in development! So we hope that'll be available in an update very soon. We do feel that our pricing is fair for the value our users get, including: full access across both web and app platforms, innovative features such as our AI podcast generator, unlimited generations, and a whole suite of learning tools. As you highlighted, our annual premium plan is the equivalent of just four months of the monthly cost and is way less than a coffee a week. As I'm sure you can appreciate, the process of AI generation also involves significant resources to maintain and support. If you're finding that the generation is not reflecting the questions in a reasonable way, please email in to us: we'll always take a look and being able to review more specific situations will mean we can give better advice or tweak our models. Free is not too bad

The free version is pretty good. The AI has a really well developed search and informational gathering system. I got it for the part 107 test and when I typed in that I wanted a test on it it made a very detailed and informational quiz for me it’s not just basics. It goes in depth. I plan on upgrading to the premium version can’t wait to see what I get with the increase in quality if this is the base version for free

I love this app. It helps me find answers in my notes when ive flipped back and forth not able to find them quickly my self. I love how i can make my own questions, though, the multiple choice works great, ive had issues with the matching question. Its okay though cause the quiz questions are the main thing and it works great.
