IPTV M3U Edit is a native macOS editor for M3U and M3U8 playlist files. It is a tool for organising playlists you already own — it does not include, provide, or stream any channels or content. Open a playlist, see every channel in a fast sortable table, fix what is wrong, and export a clean file. BUILT FOR LARGE PLAYLISTS • Opens playlists with tens of thousands of channels and stays responsive • Instant search across name, group and tvg-id • Sort by any column, or drag rows into the order you want • Full undo and redo for every edit CLEAN UP MESSY PLAYLISTS • Find and remove duplicates by URL, name or tvg-id • Check whether streams are reachable, then remove dead entries in one step • Find and replace across names, groups and attributes • Merge several playlists into one • Bulk-edit a whole selection at once ORGANISE BY GROUP • Browse each playlist as a set of groups in the sidebar • Drag channels between groups, or drag a group into another playlist • Export the whole playlist, one group, or exactly what the table is showing XMLTV GUIDE TOOLS • Load your provider's XMLTV guide and see how many channels will actually show listings • Find channels whose tvg-id appears in no guide — a broken guide is silent and easy to miss • Fill in missing or incorrect tvg-ids automatically from the guide • Backfill missing channel logos from the guide's icons CHANNEL DATABASE • The app remembers channel details from the playlists you import • Fill the gaps in a new playlist from what it already knows • Browse and edit that database directly, so a fix you make once keeps working IMPORT AND EXPORT • Open local M3U and M3U8 files, or drag them onto the window • Import from a URL, or from an Xtream Codes account • Xtream credentials are kept in your macOS Keychain • Export standard M3U files that preserve every attribute, including provider options the editor does not model itself QUICK PREVIEW • Play a stream in a small preview window to confirm an entry works • Hand a stream to VLC when a format needs it PRIVACY • Your playlists stay on your Mac • No account, no tracking, no analytics • The app contacts only the servers you enter yourself IMPORTANT IPTV M3U Edit is an editor. It does not supply channels, streams, subscriptions or playlists, and is not affiliated with any IPTV provider or broadcaster. You need your own playlist file or provider account to use it.

Version 2.0 is a complete rebuild of IPTV M3U Edit in modern native macOS technology. It is faster, handles far bigger playlists, and adds the editing tools that were missing. REBUILT • A new native interface built for macOS Sonoma and later • Handles playlists with tens of thousands of channels without slowing down • Full undo and redo across every edit • Playlists are now saved automatically and reopen where you left them NEW: CLEAN-UP TOOLS • Remove duplicates by URL, name or tvg-id • Check whether streams are reachable and remove dead ones • Find and replace across names, groups and attributes • Merge playlists, and bulk-edit a whole selection at once NEW: GROUP SIDEBAR • Every playlist expands into its groups • Drag channels between groups, or drag a group into another playlist • Export the whole playlist, a single group, or just the rows on screen NEW: XMLTV GUIDE SUPPORT • Load your provider's guide and see how many channels will really show listings • Find channels whose tvg-id exists in no guide • Fill in missing or wrong tvg-ids, and missing logos, from the guide NEW: CHANNEL DATABASE • The app learns channel details from the playlists you import • Use them to fill the gaps in the next playlist you open • Browse and edit what it has learned NEW: IMPORT OPTIONS • Import from a URL or from an Xtream Codes account • Xtream credentials are stored in your macOS Keychain • Drag M3U files straight onto the window ALSO • Channel logos shown in the table • Provider attributes such as catchup and http-user-agent are now visible and editable, and every unrecognised attribute survives a round trip • A quick preview window to confirm a stream works, with hand-off to VLC
